why the hell it canceled in my setting the check mark at startup for opening previous tabs?! i haven't touched the settings in ages since i set them up so it had to be one of your stupid updates.

fortunatly chatgpt had a solution to bring all my tabs back otherwise i'd fucking rage out.

Hi. While clearing my browser history the other night some of my bookmarks also got deleted. I understand once browser history is deleted it cannot be recovered, but is there any way a deleted bookmark can be recovered?

Title, i really don't want that small icon on every new tab. You can move it in toolbar customization , but you can't remove it completely. It loads automatically when opening any tab at all , so i see it for a split second. It really bugs me.

I need to add the extension icon back to the toolbar. It had quit functioning, so I removed it, and now I can't figure out how to add it back in. I also can't find an extension that will allow me to directly email a browser page.

After manually deleting a link from my bookmarks, that unneeded link is still suggested in the address bar after the fact.

This is while using the Windows version of Firefox 140. In the Search > Address Bar — Firefox Suggest section of settings, I only have the Bookmarks option enabled. I've tried disabling History > Remember search and form history and enabling History > Clear history when Firefox closes options as well but still have the problem.

I'd really appreciate any advice.

Help me find an extension that will allow me to email a link to a browser page through Outlook email directly from the browser page. I tried to add maps.coogle.com to a specific container. this ends opening maps forparts of a second in this container displaying the cookie content page. regardles if a agree or not, it opens the cookie consent page in a new tab (looping forever) is there a way to add a site to a specific container using a config file? is here a way to add a site to a container, without having the subsites after the TLD, in the URL

I use Firefox as my default browser. We I download something (a program update, an xlsx file from my back) I get a downlaod failed, so I have to use another browser to download it.

Recently I have been unable to go to websites where I have had accounts for years. I can no longer access sites like Chewy, Etsy, and even Pinterst. On the latest failure to sign in to Etsy the message I got is "Please enable JS and disable any ad blocker" I don't want to learn another browser. Please understand I'm a senior so not as savy as you young folks. My Firefox browser is 140.0 so it is up to date

I am trying to set up a vpn using Proton as a Firefox add-in but Firefox won't let me use it, saying it has invalid credentials. I can't contact Proton because if I enable it as an add-in to Firefox, I can't use my browser. Do you know of any other vpn networks that work securely with Firefox?
