I encountered an issue when exporting a theme from Firefox Color. When I downloaded the XPI file, it contained only a `manifest.json` and **did not include the background image files** referenced in the manifest. This caused Firefox to reject the theme as “corrupt” when trying to install or import it.

What I discovered during debugging:

1. Firefox Color provides both a **ZIP** and an **XPI** download.

  The ZIP contains the correct folder structure and the background image files.
  The XPI is missing these files entirely.

2. Because the XPI is missing required assets, Firefox treats the file as corrupt.

3. Importing the broken XPI through the Add-ons Manager or uploading it to AMO also triggers corruption or validation errors.

4. I had to manually inspect the ZIP, extract the proper `images/` directory, and rebuild the XPI myself.

5. I ended up using ChatGPT to troubleshoot the issue, confirm expected manifest structure, correct extension ID mismatches, and verify JSON formatting.

The issue appears to be that Firefox Color’s **XPI exporter is broken or incomplete**, producing theme packages that cannot be installed or validated without manual repair.

It would be helpful if Firefox Color’s XPI export included all necessary files consistently and matched the structure found in the ZIP download.

I have Windows 11 version 25H2, and Firefox 145.0.2 I'm having problems connecting to some sites, e.g. Amazon.fr The problem is the same on other sites, i.e. it takes a long, long time to connect to a site or within a site. I have tried various solutions such as: running Avast Clean Up, restarting my computer, clearing the history in Firefox before trying to connect but nothing seems to help. What's gone wrong and what's the solution?

Printing will not show up when I select print, only save shows. What can I do? When I use a different browser it works fine. Only when I use Mozilla, I can't print.

I run the current version on a Dell Inspiron 15 3530 laptop using Windows 11 Pro. Today, I tried to open my profile file to back it up, but got the message attached below. I searched my computer and found the file in another location.Should I copy the file to the expected location or not?

This is a privacy problem, because most of the time when I open a website like google.com, I don't want to be logged in so the website can identify me. I only keep a container tab for such a website around, so I can open it if I explicitly want to be logged in.

I used to be able to ask a question on Firefox and get an answer. Now when I ask for information all I get is advertisements pertaining to the question I am asking.

I get an error message when trying to login to the Social Security website with Firefox. Works with Chrome. The problem just started. Here is the error message.

I was just on a tech help support call and the tech person rebooted my firefox and lost my access to my most recent browsing history. Is there a way that I can still restore the lost history? It is not showing up in the History section anymore.

I've followed the directions I've found in looking for answers to this, and they haven't worked. My bookmarks haven't appeared when I switched between 2 profiles and nothing has appeared when I went to the Library and tried the various restoration options. I also can't bookmark any webpages since I've lost my bookmarks. I'm using this in Windows 11. Ccleaner found 19 GB of system files that it didn't name, and it wouldn't delete them, so the bookmarks may still be there - I just don't know how to find them. Thanks for your help.
