Does "merge" mean like it sounds, to combines the content, or does it mean the latest will overwrite the oldest, or one will overwrite the other under other conditions?

Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
This is just typical of many answers I find on the Firefox forums whereby the suggested solutions seem to bear no resemblance to my Firefox system. Am I using something different? Everything points to me having the latest up to date version of Firefox. For example if I click on the four horizontal line hamburger on top right of the screen I do not see anything that begins with "Tools" in the menu options. I see "Settings" and "More Tools" but none lead to "Options>Content: Fonts & Colors> Advanced: [X]. simarly, If I click on "Tools" in the menu at the top of the Browser nothing leads to "Options". Any suggestions please?

I'm using VSCode debugging plugin for Firefox in order to debug my angular web apps. The plugin states that it only works when launching Firefox with "-start-debugger-server" argument. This launches Firefox with an interface warning, recoloring search bar bright striped-red with a warning "Browser is under remote control (reason: devtools)".
I would very much like to remove this warning, since I'd like to work in this mode all the time anyways. Is there any ways to do so?

Hi, Suddenly today I am having an issue(s) with ebay. When I go to add something to my cart I get a brief pop up that I am unable to interact with before it disappears. I reset and cleared everything and attempted to relogin to ebay. The password field suddenly would show. I insured all the plugins were disabled and I disabled the tracking protection.
Only after I rebooted into troubleshooting mode could I get the password field and afterward I was able to add an item to my cart. I tried adding a different item into my cart after turning off the troubleshooting mode and once again an item with not add to my cart.

Just recently it does not allow me to see the sold items. On my wife's computer (right along side mine) hers works. I contacted Ebay, they say the problem is not on their side. I tried using another browser and it does work correctly. - I do not want to switch from Firefox as my main browser. I even uninstalled Firefox and re-installed it but got the same result. Hi, Since few weeks ago, firefox never restores my previous tabs/session (I lost a year worth of tabs..), no matter what/how I tried, it keeps starting with a clean session, not even the history in there. I tried: Deleting profile, creating a new one Resetting Firefox Fully delete FF and delete the profile folder Heck, I even used librewolf, and even FF on linux and also Librewolf, same issue!!
I notice this happen once I enable the sync (login to my account), there's no setting in my account says to never restore the session or something similar.
How to solve it?! I need to have the tabs open again..

I have been "managing" bookmarks for years and years but I have NEVER found a SOLUTION to managing bookmarks in a SIMPLE, USEFUL way. I have wasted hours and hours on this site looking for answers to the ongoing difficulty that EVERYONE has dealing with the BROWSER WARS imperative that bookmarks can be imported and therefore, perpetually duplicated in an infinite array of browser upgrades and OS installations over the YEARS AND YEARS. For those of us who have managed to ERR on the side of caution and always opt to live with the effects of this rather than risk LOSING the good data nested within, I implore Mozilla to THINK LONG AND HARD on developing a solution to this ONGOING PROBLEM WITH BROWSER BOOKMARKS MANAGEMENT OVERALL. Oh sure, there are hundreds of plugins that ultimately suck up the memory for partial solutions to the PROBLEM that is caused by each new installation of Firefox or other browser in which past bookmarks are imported and ultimately duplicated ad infinitum. I don't need to know all the things that are wrong with Microsoft and how developers or users create the problem, I need a SOLUTION.
Will Mozilla please be the FIRST BROWSER TO SOLVE THE DE-SHITIFICATION OF BOOKMARKS no matter how poorly mismanaged and duplicated they were in past iterations?

Years ago doing this solved slowness problems: Control panel/Internet Options/General/Browsing History/Settings/set disk space to use to 1024.
The browsing history would be deleted before the computer would be turned off.

Edge used to not allow folders with tabs.
I have divided the folder of 132 tabs, where this problem started, into two folders of 72 and 60 tabs, still happens about every fifth time the folder would be opened.

I posted about a month ago that I was having problems with logging on various websites with FF. A reader had me uninstall/reinstall and that fixed the issue. Now it's back again. I get error messages like "something went wrong" when trying to logon to various websites, or told to reload, but it just keeps happening. It's a bit random. No problems with Edge. I need this solved to use FF.
