I was emailed instructions for installing the free Firefox Sync add-on on my desktop. After successfully installing the add-on (Step 1) after Firefox restarted I was not prompted to create an account (Step 2). So I'm stuck.

Sync won't install. I've tried several times on both XP and Vista machines, and after install/restart - nothing. No desktop icon, no screen prompts - its like nothing happened. Feels like a waste of time!

I've downloaded to both my XP desktop (and was charged $1 by iTunes for Sync, even though it's shown as 'Free'!), and - nothing. The download process looked OK, but after re-start, there were no on-screen prompts on restart, no desktop icon, nothing - not even a saved file in 'downloads' - my default location. I'm in the UAE, btw.

Xmarks is shutting down, and they have an export bookmarks button. Can Sync import them so I don't lose all my bookmarks?

I have been trying to setup Firefox Sync but have made a mess of it. I don't remember setting a "secret phrase" but it thinks I did and I don't have a clue what is was. I want to do my initial sync and set up a second computer but can't logon to the Sync server. I tried an uninstall/reinstall but when I tried to start over, it wouldn't let me use my origianl account name. Can't I delete the original account/data and start over? What should I do? Help, please.
current version downloaded today, latest version firefox 3.6.10. win7 ultimate desktop, win7 starter netbook. tried changing password. no username to try lower case. tried disabling other plugins. is there anything else i can try? thanks

Attempting to set up Sync with iPhone. The Firefox add on does not give me the Secret Phrase dialog box. Not sure why not. Help ? Please and thank you!
I have was successful at syncing a desktop and a laptop. No luck with the iPhone as there is no "Secret Phrase" dialog box under sync preferences, manage account.

I have accidently deleted all my data for Firefox 3 when I uninstalled the Beta 4. I thought I would be able to get Sync to restore all the data, but it requires a Sync Key that I have no access to and cannot remember. Is there anything I can do to either A. recover my data or B. Somehow recover my Sync Key?

I then select Tools/Sync/Preferences to manage the Firefox Sync Account. I select Manage Account and I see View Quota, Change Password, My Sync Key, Reset Sync and Stop Using This Account. There is no option to edit or create a secret phrase. Please help! I don't know where else to look or what else to do. Thanks!!
