I've just transitioned over from Google Chrome. There, any time I tried to access a saved password, it asked me for my fingerprint (I'm on a Mac). It "cached" my print for a five minute window, so if I access saved passwords during that window, I didn't have to do it again. But after five minutes, I had to do it again.

Although it's annoying, it's my preference because it's a business laptop that I travel with frequently.

Firefox doesn't seem to have the same feature? Some websites says it DOES have the five minute window, but I've tried every combination I can figure out in passwords and can't get that to happen. I tried the primary password, but that only asks for it when I start up Firefox. I want the five minute window.

I searched the forum and seem to be the only person in the world who wants this level of security?!?!

For some scrollables, v153 doesn't respect the Mac OS setting to hide scrollbars unless scrolling on page load. If that OS setting is adjusted after the page is loaded, then the page respects it again until refresh, so there's apparently some sort of race condition going on where it's not reading the setting in time before the page loads?

This is not a problem in v152. I downgraded back to v152 and it's working again.

I updated to version 153.03. As a habit, before I close firefox I always clear browsing data. After the update, when I click "clear" to clear browsing data, the website freezes every time. I have to force quit to exit the website. I have macbook, sequoia 15.7.3

Recently any search I do via Firefox tab is automatically taken over by Yahoo and I'm not aware I ever sanctioned this and I don't want this to happen as normally Google was doing the searches. Thank you

Firefox completely changed overnight without notice and I have lost all my bookmarks and can't find out how to access TV channels that were easily available previously on my desktop. Trying to make sense of changes but struggling. Nothing that used to work for me is still available. I don't even recognise it. Might have to give up Firefox.

Firefox just automatically updated on my (old) Mac (to version 155) and the VPN has stopped working. I am no longer able to select France as a location which I have been able to do for weeks until now... What's going on?! How is this an improvement?

Hi, I updated to latest mac os version tahoe, opened floorp hoping that it would restore tab and workspaces as i put them before and the notes in it.

But when i opened, it requested for me to refresh. And after i refresh and restart, my workspaces tab, FLoorp notes all disappeared ! I want to recover them! I have tried asking chatgpt to check about:profiles, and copying "Old Floorp Data" into the ~/Library/Application Support/Floorp/Profiles default profiles 1 and hoping it would recover, but i opened floorp, and still nothing,my notes gone and workplace tabs not there.

I would like a way to recover it please. I used this joseph.13ad, and was synced in Floorp/mozilla, so i dont understand especially for notes how it disappeared

I am asked to update every time I open Firefox and that's been going on for a year. I have no idea what version I'm now using even though I have updated it numerous times.

Why is italways presued people have a mobile defcice to the point where tech services become inaccessible o them I know that I can hood wink the computer into thinking that it is an iphone. But if sync only works computer to mobile device that would be pointless. Did it ever occur to the developers after rooms of focus groups and testers that someone might what to sync two computers? Is that crazy? What is wrong with everyone these days. I guess I'm asking if there's anyway to do it, but I"m pretty sure I already kw the answer and it will start with first take your mobile device... c'mon! If it is possible to sync w/o an iphone or an android someone please fill me in. Otherwise just know that your sync is misleading in terms of functionality. It shouldn't be a brick wall the way it is. Like having a computer isnt good enough, the whole world is focused on these stupid things. Children are slaving away in places most of us would be terrified to set foot in just to make this garbage. If all you had to do to end child slave labor is put down your i-phone(etc.).... So as a society we believe that child slave labor is ok. I'm getting off topic but that last bit just served to flesh out my frustration for people laughing at my flip-phone. You can take that ridicule an cram it back down your throats with the decades of CIA directives that crafted the culture making you think that way. Just watch a congressional hearing on the topic. If aliens can make ufos, how hard would it be to subtly influence us through mass-media.? ":They've been here a long time." If I seem overly verbose, that's just the side effect of a culture that doesn't like indulging thoughts that cant be represented by a tiny handful of syllables .. Ok ok.
