How do I fix this? It's making my browsing VERY difficult and I have work to do.

Right now, my browser is formatted such that the tabbar is on top. This works fine but there is a tiny gap of a few pixels from the top of my screen to the top of the tab. This results in not being able to move my mouse to the top of the screen and selecting tabs. Is there some way to remove it so that I can select tabs even with my mouse at the top limit of my screen?
Also, when I have two or more tabs opened at the same time, the whole info bar (where the tab bar and nav toolbar sit) shifts downwards. For instance, when I have one tab open, the whole info bar is X height. But when I open a new tab, it widens to an X+ height. If I close this new tab, it will shrink back to X height. How can I fix this?

When attempting to use websites like Battlefield 3's "Battlelog" and Netflix's "Watch Instantly", which require Windows Vista or Windows 7, these websites fail to recognize my OS, which is Windows 7 64-bit.
I recently uninstalled an addon called Masking Agent, which purported to hide a computer's specifications from websites. How this addon got onto my computer I am unsure.

This is more of a criticism than a bug report. It seems that whenever I run Firefox, there is an issue. I can't tell you how many computers I've been to where:
- Firefox complains that it is out of date.
I get it, updating software is hard, but don't burden me with the issue. Updates should be quiet and seemless.
- Firefox needs to inform me about my rights.
99.9999999999% of users don't know or care about this.
- Firefox is unhappy that it's not my default browser.
- Firefox babies the user when downloading extensions.
Adding a 3 second timer to your install button doesn't make the user choose safer decisions. It just makes me impatient. What's the justification for this delay? Do you have proof that you've curbed malicious behavior?
I just want to run Firefox and not be burdened with all of this. Don't bother me with updates, don't treat me like a baby, just get out of the way so I can get to work.

Have problems with flash sites, after following the complete uninstall and delete instructions for flash, re-starting computer and re-installing, problems were still there, then tried to uninstall realplayer plugin, and noticed add-ons didn't open. It Does open in safe mode though, managed to uninstall rp plugin, but problems still exist. Re-installed firefox, didn't help either.

Last night, a problem began occurring when I launched Firefox. Every time I open my browser, it launches the previous session from when I last closed it. The problem persists despite many attempted fixes.
The option "When Firefox starts" is set to "Show my homepage". I've restarted my computer and ended the process, so I know that Firefox doesn't have a window or process still running.
I've tried deleting sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak but that only works once and then it goes back to opening whatever tabs and windows I had open when I last closed Firefox. I've reinstalled Firefox with no results and cleared all private data except history and it didn't do anything.
I didn't install anything or update any add-ons or extensions, but it just started occurring after a normal browsing session. I've tried to find other solutions, but nothing I have found has worked. Does anyone have any new solutions or suggestions?

Earlier today I was fine with Firefox 4 and an older version of Tabmix Plus. All I can remember doing besides checking email, etc., is updating AVG virus definitions. But, suddenly, the middle click stopped working to open links in new tabs (I do not thing AVG did this. I update definitions all the time). It works when I want scroll with it and I see the little up/down arrow thingy, but no clicking, not even from one of my bookmarks. Ctrl + right click doesn't open tabs anymore either.
Disable TabMix Plus, however, and it works fine! Download newest version of TabMix Plus and it doesn't work. I've installed and uninstalled at least 5 versions from different time periods and it blocks my middle click ability each time. I've restarted, disabled AVG, tried this, tried that, searched online, everything.
Next, I downloaded the newest Firefox (FF12) and had the same problem. I found a TabMix alternative, Tab Utilities 1.2, yet the issue persists.
I have NO other add-ons enabled. I've never had GreaseMonkey, but today I downloaded an update GreaseMonkey had to try to fix TabMix (GM 0.9.11) but still nothing. And it's working perfectly right now, but that's because I don't have a tab manager enabled. Help!

2 weeks ago when I switched on my pc (Windows XP) I had very poor screen resolution, which I was unable to fix other than by resetting to an earlier day. I also was having problems with McAffee saying that it couldn't access my pc to upload files. Eventually, I asked McAfee to sort the problem, which they did by taking control of my pc. I am now getting messages today saying that updates from McAffee have been uploaded satisfactorily. However, each time I now switch on my pc I get the same very poor screen resolution which I can only fix by resetting to a previous date.
Have you any ideas as to why this should be happening and more importantly how I can fix it.

Firefox 16 and Firefox 17 Tried with Flashplayer 11.5, 11.4, 11.2, 10.4. It happens in safe mode. It happens even when all Add-ons are disabled.
It does not happen in Chrome.
I'd be very grateful for suggestions on how to troubleshoot this. I've already googled extensively and none of the suggestions I found helped.
