Hi. I used to be able to maximize (fullscreen) a Firefox window in either my main display or my connected external display and the unused display would remain available. As of the last update the unused display is being blacked out. How can I revert this so I can use the other display? I have already tried turning hardware acceleration off and back on and it still does not work.

I want to uninstall and maybe re-install some add-ons. But when I goto the add-on page. It just appears blank. So are some other pages in the support/ help sections. Another most notably, is (via menu) help -> more troubleshooting information. It just sends me to a blank page! See the uploaded images for the pages I get send to.

Help please with changing my add-ons

Dear Firefox team. I have to work with many pdf file. When it preview on Firefox it's toolbar too much small and print, download buttons also small. I want to increase toolbar size. I try with about:config but I failed. Please give solution. Thanks in advance

I chose to reinstall Firefox browser in order to start over fresh and ensure a security refresh. Once installed, I created an entirely new Mozilla account with new info. However, when I go up to the top right of the browser and click on the little icon of the circle with a bust in it (the Account icon), it simply opens the preferences and related settings, it does not allow me to sign in to any account, nor does it show if I am already signed into any account. Is this a malfunction of the iteration I installed, or am I misunderstanding something?

I want to disable this redundant dropdown there is a post here from 6 years, but dont dolve my problem, I dont want to disable or separate the seach and the url bar, i just want to get ridoof this redundant information, just for curiosity, if i disable search or separate the bars, i still get the anoing dropdown but with "Visit" instead of "Seach with"

I am a heavy user of Firefox: daily & around 8 hours a day.

I usually use alt+shift+left/right-arrow to select a few words to the right / to the left. With the latest update (mandatory because this is a work-administered) laptop, the new behavior is that tabs are changed.

I want any solution to revert this to standard (past) behavior (preferably not an extension). Looked around in about:config but could not find anything to toggle on/off.

This is highly annoying as I've had this workflow for literally years. Even opening this ticket I encountered the issue more than 3 times as I was phrasing the message and had to delete & rewrite some stuff while also have other tabs open in the same Firefox window.

Would highly appreciate your timely response!

I use the numerical keypad frequently and need to use "/" often, but that key shares the shortcut for "quick find" which I then have to exit and click back into whatever text box I was typing in before I can continue. The alternative is to continually move my hand back and forth to the other "/" shared with "?". Both are annoying and unnecessarily take extra time.

I would very much like to disable the keyboard shortcut attached to the "/" key on the numerical keypad.

When visiting the "support.mozilla.org site, third-party translantion add-ons(such as "Immersive Translate") can't work. It says "can not read or change data on this site". I want to translate it on the same page rather than skipping into a new page. However, it can work on the "www.mozilla.org" site. When visiting on Chrome, there is not a problem. Is that site just privileged on Firefox ?

I am using Firefox 123.0.0 (rel. 20-Feb-2023) on a Win 10 Pro v22H2 computer.

I understand that FF123.0.0 is supposed to include a new option to "Report Broken Site" on the menu (hamburger icon) that is described in the support article How do I report a broken site in Firefox desktop? but I can't see this new option. I also checked the menu options under More Tools and Help but can't find it.

Exiting and re-opening Firefox didn't solve the problem.

For some reason, in my firefox profile, when I try to access "https://accounts.google.com", it open on new tab with a specific container, while other url keep open with no container. I've never configure this behavior, or found a setting to fix it. It only happen on my current firefox profile. If I create new profile, this problem didnt occurs.

I was happily typing along and noticed both a typo and the fact that the typo was NOT underlined in red squiggles. Hmmmm, I thought.

Fiddling around, I discovered an option on right-click that allowed Me to turn on spellcheck. Now, every time I type in an email or forum, on Twitter, anywhere, I have to right-click to be sure of My spelling.

Thus began My efforts to find how to set the button to be on by default... Finding none led Me to "Help," which a search of the term "spellcheck default" led Me to a zero in returns. Sure, there were discussions with those terms, but I could not prowl them all looking for the method of setting spellcheck to be on by default. The first few pages yielded nothing...

So if You would please, direct Me to that function. [smile]

I've just updated to Firefox 125 and now, when I start to type in the URL bar and get my suggestion dropdown of previously visited pages, I no longer can see the actual url for each entry. All I see is the top level name for each entry.

This is not helpful, as I may have perviously visited a number of pages on that site and the information shown does not give me a way to differentiate sufficiently between those pages.

How can I get the exact url displayed on the suggestions dropdown.

How can I get those top level descriptions NOT displayed, so that only the urls are shown?

After applied Chinese Language Pack, the menu didn't change ,even after restart firefox or the system. I tried refresh firefox and re-install the language pack, the same situation appeared.

Hi, i have problem with uninstalling uBlock Origin i cant remove them from extension tab. I tried refreshing firefox, reinstalling, opening firefox with troubleshoot mode and still nothing i dont know why is so difficult.Even when i reinstalling firefox this addon onstalling by itself even when im not logged in.Please help me. Ridiculous with the new update page saying " A browser that's truly yours My Firefox: More Speed, More Security, More Fun." WHEN YOU CANNOT TURN OFF THE IDIOTIC popup spam for the updates NOT EVEN GOOGLE CHROME DOES THAT. And ridiculous it has to LOAD THE UPDATE after restarting the browser lag time and IDIOTIC BRIGHT SCREEN FLASHING even if you have darkmode on, JESUS CHRIST this browser seems ridiculous and FAR WORSE THAN THE OTHERS WHEN EVEN CHROME IS BETTER with these settings and not being pointlessly ridiculous rofl. Just updated a friend's computer from Windows 7 to 10. Installed firefox over previous ESR and now there's no way to remove the search bar from the new tab page. On my W10 system, the search bar isn't there, not sure how or why, but on her's there's no option NOT to show it as there used to be.

I found some VERY old (2014) info on this but doesn't seem to be up to date.

PLEASE give us our options back and stop taking them away, sheesh, getting as bad as Microsoft.

Is there a workaround for this to remove the redundant search bar from the new tab page since you can search from the address bar?
