I am having to download Foxfire Developer Edition for a course that I am taking, but I am unable to figure out to go this. There is not enough information on the internet to get this done. I am on medical marijuana and I cannot use the site because email says I needs a new browser. Without this new browser I cannot get anything from the Medical Marijuana. Everything from the state goes through the email system. There Is a problem with my medical card. It is not working. I have been trying for over a week to get the code I need to open the site and order a new card. I was told that the fasted way to do this is to go through Lost or Stolen card. Cannot get where I need to go because of my email needs a new browser. I am on loop and cannot get off the merry-go-round without help, so please help me.

Hi, can someone please to me how to turn off automatic updates on Firefox Version 140.0 (64-bit)? Firefox's own support page, "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-options-preferences-and-settings?as=u&utm_source=inproduct", is incorrect. It states that, "Firefox Updates Here you can check your update history or change update settings for Firefox.", but you can not change the update setting, (see attachment).

It is really annoying it updates while you are using it, ruining your experience as you can no longer refresh tabs or open new ones forcing you to restart it.

Have a copy of Firefox portable, that I use on a USB stick. Before Firefox 140, it updated properly. Now, I find that it keeps staying on version 135, even though it keeps telling me it has updated to the latest version. Puzzled by this. Can you please advise me on this problem?

how do i completely stop updates? or at least until i restart the browser, not the browser making me restart it. i have it set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them", but its not really a choice if im forced to press the button to continue browsing...

it happens twice a day that firefox prevents me browsing and makes me wait 30 seconds for it to update after clicking the "restart firefox and update" button. very frustrating.

my old chrome book didn't install firefox..it said outdated , support ended ? i figuured it's time to get new ..i bought new chromebook from bestbuy..

firefox > google play store > downloaded/ install > .tar file..no good? .tar file won't open, or won't open fully..

why the hell it canceled in my setting the check mark at startup for opening previous tabs?! i haven't touched the settings in ages since i set them up so it had to be one of your stupid updates.

fortunatly chatgpt had a solution to bring all my tabs back otherwise i'd fucking rage out.
