I want to download a grocery flier without having to use screenshot. The grocery chain does not include a download option. Can I do this with Moxilla Firefox as my browser, on Windows 10

Recently transferred to a new desktop computer. Tried logging into the Costco website and using the Firefox browser(my preferred) the website is no longer recognizing my log in email and password. My email and password did work on my old desktop. So, I tried entering in my info in the Chrome browser and it worked. So I'm wondering why? I cleared my cashe and cookies also.

I was going to random name generator sites yesterday and I went to one that is called www.behindaname.com and it 'dropped' a web app into my firefox browser somehow. I am running version 143.0.1

Now, there is an icon in the taskbar, right in the address box between toggle reader view and bookmark this page. When you hover over it, it drops a popup message "add tab to taskbar".

In my Windows 10 menu, it shows under recently added on the start menu, as "behindaname"

If you right click on this and click on 'open file location' it opens a directory "C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Firefox Web Apps" and in this directory is behindaname and under file type .lnk

If you right click on the recently added on start menu "behindaname", and select uninstall, it opens up the Windows 10 uninstall menu, but it isn't listed in there anywhere.

I would just delete the link, but since it is putting that icon on my taskbar and it is giving that target, it is hiding somewhere. I am just not up to speed on web apps and other browser malware, at least I consider it browswer malware, to know what is going on and how to completely get rid of it. This started happening a few days ago.

I tried to drag a tab out of the main window to put it in its own window on my other monitor, but the tab just became unselectable, and if i scrolled in the tab bar, the tab icon and text would remain locked in place in the display while the other tabs moved behind it.

The main Firefox window also lost the minimize, restore, and close buttons. The only way to make the tabs work was to close Firefox and relaunch it.

I noticed this happened only after any app in the OS went full screen, be it a steam game, or another Firefox window, or a VLC window, or anything else that I did that made an app full screen in any of my monitors.

I am using Ubuntu 24.04 with KDE Plasma 5.27.12. Kernel is 6.14.0-29. Display server is Wayland.

Initially I thought this could be a problem with the snap version of Firefox, so now I've installed the deb package, but the problem remains. Firefox is the only app which presents a problem of any kind when any window goes full screen.

Here's a video showing what the problem looks like, in case my description was not clear. The ghostly tab in this video is the chess.com home page and you can see it as the third tab from the top right of the video, and it remains in that position as i scroll the other tabs, completely unselectable with the mouse.

Hi all. I'm trying to add Instapaper's 'Send to Kindle Bookmarklet' to the Menu Bar of Firefox on Mac and it won't work.

I've followed Mozilla suggestions when bookmarklets fail to add (essentially it's about making sure the places.sqlite-wal file in the Profiles folder is unlocked -- which it now is), but nothing changes.

Following other articles online, I've discovered that Bookmarklets in general (ie not just this one) won't install, though I have cookies temporarily off, pop-ups temporarily unblocked, the specific site marked as an exception etc, but nothing works.

Because it's not just an Instapaper issue, I'm hoping someone here more tech-minded than me might know the solution.

The only Firefox will open a link in a new tab is if I force it to do so by right clicking each link and choosing open in new tab. Before it automatically opened in a new tab.

I want to add a site: http://www.flexmls.com to my bookmarks for auto sign on. I can't seem to do this. can you assist?

Why am I being blocked from websites? I keep receiving messages 504 Gateway Time-out. The question I searched in google was, what size comb do I use to clip my dog's long hair? It's a simple question. Why did it send me this message 504 Gateway Time-out. I am not all that computer literate so I could use some help please. FYI I used Firefox as my browser.

Ive notcied in the last few weeks that sometimes whn i open mozilla and try watch youtube the webpage loads but no vidoes will work. I have the same issue with my Trading212 website, it loads up but will not log me in or anything. I have never had any issues with mozilla before but now everytime i switch my pc off anf try to use Mozilla it just does not work. To get it to work i have to start the uninstaller for mozilla and go through the reload/refresh process which does work in allowing me to watch youtube vidoes and sign into my trading account but it seems super unesscary that i hav e to do this every time i want to go online, I really like Mozilla but if this continues I unfortunately will have to find another browser.

I have documents. I am told they are not secure. I am locked out when I try to access them. I want to unlock and access them. How do I do this? I would also like to turn off this "protection" if possible.
