With FF 140.0 on both WIn10 and WIn11, new tabs opened automatically then closed after less than a second. Initially I thought this was due to malware, but on inspecting the History, I found the source of this annoying behavior:

Is there a way to STOP this sidebar checking with its tab opening/closing without disabling Java entirely ? Is this annoying behavior really necessary in FF ?

Is there any software that allows software developers to see what the CSS they are creating is doing in real time ?
Because I can't imagine they're doing it blindly. I see some CSS files that have hundreds, possibly thousands, of lines.
If there is software that helps them see immediately what their CSS is doing, can it be used to create extensions (add-ons) for Firefox ?

Please change the switch in your code back to normal. Its just a tiny switch! normal is=task bar context menu by right clicking on the task bar WITHOUT "title bar". Is this so hard? And why is such important thing not fixed in 7 months?

And you put this dang auto Startpage when launching window, I did NOT ask for that. I am so pissed, how do I get them all back? I had things I was working on that were very important. What else did you add to FF that I don't know about? I don't want your updates anymore. You screwed me big time. And I don't want the extensions YOU think I should have: Google, eBay, Bing, etc. wasting my space. I'm not the only one either, seen lots of complaints.

After tinkering with about:config (shouldn't have...) the background of every page that does not specify a body background color turns the color of my theme background color.
Using the firefox color pipette says its white, but it clearly isn't.
The theme i have is dark, making any page that expects the background to be white unreadable (without DevTools -> Body -> background-color: white)
I haven't been able to find the config that fixes it.

I was trying to setup 2FA on my Mozilla account on Firefox pc browser (140 version). The process completes without issues with Aegis authenticator app, I download the backup codes and I even get the email confirming the recovery phone number was added. On the Mozilla accounts page 2FA turns to enabled. (I'm on Windows11 with latest Firefox browser version)
However after a simple refresh, it turns back to disabled. I repeated the process and same thing happens. Same even on Firefox Android. What could be the issue here?

How in the heck do you increase the size of the UI font? I have a 1440P monitor and the TINY size of the UI font makes it nearly impossible to read the text on the menu buttons, I have lean forward and squint to read it because they are so damn small. I can't find anything in the settings to make the UI text larger. It is as if some dummy hard coded the UI font size so it's impossible for the average person to find out how to change it. It makes no sense whatsoever.
And please don't tell me to increase the zoom in the Windows settings, because that screws up EVERYTHING else...
Another thing that is driving me crazy is how do you set it so that scrolling with the mouse wheel is smooth and not jerky? When i scroll with the mouse wheel, instead of smoothly moving the page up or down, it JERKS a couple of lines at a time. This is the only browser that it does that in. I have smooth scrolling ON in the mouse settings on my computer but for some reason, only Firefox is doing this.
