I've been a loyal Firefox user since version 2.0. but to this day you guys have not made it easier for users to restore Firefox profiles. We in 2026 should be able to do the following directly from the user interface of Firefox. honestly its really taken me a long time to voice this opinion but it makes the app a tad less user friendly. i mean its easier to import from another browser but you have to pull out and search all sorts of folders to import from an old Firefox installation or a windows refresh (windows.old). Please, please implement this ASAP. we users have waited too long.

1. display a list of profiles (even from windows.old after a windows refresh) 2. automatically import that information 3. append existing bookmarks from the bookmarks backup if i choose to. 4. be able to browse the bookmarks and show the most recently used ones 5. be able to even reinstall the existing plugins (this one is minor)

the image attached is exactly showing what happens after a windows refresh. this feature is also great for administrators.

Desktop and laptop--all upgraded with anti-virus software. Why does firefox randomly log me out of websites and delete my cookies--WITHOUT me doing anything? The Firefox main screen has about 2" of space on 3 ides. The icons are so far down (the 4th side) that I cannot read the second line without moving the page up. Many of the web sites I load are off kilter, mostly NYT and Facebook games which always have to be adjusted to a place where they are on the screen correctly. I have spent several hours searching through forums, resetting , refreshing , changing zoom, you name it. I then repeated the process with Gemini, at which point it seemed I only Made the Google search bar smaller but by now I m not even sure.

Prior to a recent browser update, my Firefox New Tab page was completely clean, minimalist, and beautifully displayed the custom background image I had chosen.

However, after the latest update, a large Firefox logo and wordmark have been forced onto the center-top of the New Tab page, completely cluttering the background image. There is no standard toggle or switch anywhere in the "Personalize" or Home settings menu to turn this logo off.

I have already tried the advanced about:config workaround by setting browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.logowordmark.alwaysVisible to False, but the logo remains visible anyway. Even ensuring that "Web Search" is toggled on/off does not resolve the issue.

Please provide a built-in settings option to hide this branding watermark, or a working configuration flag so users can enjoy a clean, unobstructed view of their chosen wallpapers.

Shopping with an online vendor I have never contacted before, using fully updated Firefox on Win 11 Pro and ESET, the website checkout offered a "Buy with SHOP [visa] ####" blue button. '####' is the last four digits of a credit card of mine.

I did not realize until later "Buy with SHOP [visa] ####" meant "Shopify" would own the transaction. I have never established any online "Wallet" and would never do that. I had never heard of "Shopify." I did not know what it is. Now I do, and I am terrified. I have the complete source code from the page. If that would help a diagnosis, let me know. It is clear that Shopify populates the form from information it already has; how they write the HTML is less important than how they got this personal information in the first place.
