My entire Firefox account has disappeared, bookmarks, passwords, email, history, everything. I shut down my Mac Airbook when I left town Tuesday, powered up when I got home today and when i clicked on my Firefox icon at the bottom of the page, a new, unrecognizable Firefox page appeared asking for a signon rather than my default page, my email. Can you help me recover everything? Lloyd

firefox removed my bookmarks and they had no right to do so. This upsets me big time, and like everything else they have no phone line to cll for support. firefox is a real pice of work.

My computer automatically restarted, and when I reopened Firefox it was updated and my account was logged out. Once I logged in, everything was gone -- bookmarks, history, extensions. The only thing not gone were my saved passwords (so I know I logged back into my same account). I swear I backed everything up after the last snafu, but now I can't find anything. How do I fix this? I had 4+ years of bookmarks saved, plus my article saver extension.

Updated and lost everything in my browser and now is complete crap, no bookmarks, and it install google as a search engine that doesn't work. Can you help me rollback to the version that worked just fine? Searched help and didn't find a way to resolve problem.

My Windows 11 computer crashed recently. Before restoring windows I was able to backup some data files. I thought that I had a Firefox backup, as I recorded a folder called “Old Firefox Data” It contained a Folder called “2eguguhi.default-release” of size 751 MB. It in turn contained 7,708 Files, & 2,269 Folders. When I re-started Firefox on my “fixed” Windows 11, It was a virgin with no History & no Bookmarks; my old configuration was lost. I tried to follow the advice Fro Mozilla Help But to no avail. It was not able to detect or recognise the Folder in “Old Firefox Data”

Am I Lost or can someone Help please.

When prompted Firefox does not load correctly, but once I get yahoo emails loaded I can access them. Can I uninstall & then reinstall firefox to try to get it to work. Will I loose all my emails? I’m still using windows 10.

My wife's old Windows 10 HP laptop quit working last week do to some Operating System failure while it was trying to do an update. It finally did a reboot and now it is useless, at least as it is! It will NOT complete the boot process after trying all of the options offered. All that I am able to is exit out of Windows to a "DOS prompt." I am able to get to the Mozilla Firefox folder and others contain within. The new Windows 11 laptop I bought her is working fine with a fresh Firefox browser installed about a week ago. What she wants is her web links, settings and saved passwords "copied" from the old laptop and installed on the new one! We have no idea how many there are to retrieve! I'm hoping that there might only be one folder that I can copy via "command line" prompt to a USB drive and move the file(s) to the new laptop the same way. Can anyone tell me what I need to know? Over the last 5 or 6 months, Firefox seems to have lost the capacity to remember my open tabs if my Mac is forced to restart. These open tabs are vital to my workflow. If this can't be solved, I shall have to migrate to another browser, which is something I do not wish to do.

My Firefox version is 147.0.4; my computer a Mac Studio 2025 M3 Ultra; my OS Tahoe 26.3.

I have upgraded my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and my Firefox bookmarks have disappeared. I understand that Firefox keeps a copy of my bookmarks which appear each time I start Firefox, so how can I make them appear again automatically when I open Firefox?

Having seen 2 versions of Firefox on my computer,i tried to delete one version and unfortunately both have gone. is it possible to recover the old version with bookmarks and passwords?

I worked with a tech support team to update software on my computer. After the update they did a clean up on my computer today and I lost all of my firefox passwords. How can I recover these passwords?
