Yesterday, possibly related to updating to version 148, my profile completely disappaered. My old profiles are not visible under about:profiles, but are present on disk. They can not be imported with firefox -P. How do I get my profile data back?

Firefox is CONSTANTLY crashing now and I'm about ready to switch to another browser unless someone can give me a reason to stay.

I have a situation - which I had previously researched and resolved - that has come back to haunt me.

I use an ultra-widescreen monitor and searching/browsing obviously necessitates a center-screen search box which, up until now, Firefox has provided cleanly and with simplicity. However, I see that (once again) despite cursor placement in the center-screen box the search text is being entered in the address bar which is wholly impractical for me since I have to look about 60 degrees left and upwards to see what I am typing.

I say "again" because when this happened previously I was able to make a config change and resolve it but despite that still being in effect - the ".handoffToAwesomebar" is still set to FALSE - search text now has moved back to the address bar.

A brief search of this community yielded no answers. Is there any other known fix or has this now be thrust upon us permanently and thou shalt adapt?

You say to go to the download page and my version of Windows will be detected & you'll give me the correct version. However, IE 8 in Windows 7 won't go to your download page. So, I need to download from another computer and copy the file to the Windows 7 computer. This doesn't work when you detect that the computer doing the download is a newer computer. How do I tell your system to give me the Windows 7 installer?

The size of the slider is so tiny, it is extremely difficult to see let alone manipulate. Is there a setting which would allow a user to make them much wider, thereby easier to see and manipulate? Thanks

The five Firefox relay have not been used by me; can I create new ones. I don't use shopify or pinterest. It looks like they were set up in 2024. Can I receive 5 more to clean these out. Thanks.

That doesn't work anymore. Since the last update, the search went back to the adress bar, doesn't matter if that option is mark as true or false.

Please stop making that the searches go to the adress bar. Nobody likes it.

I have left Shortcuts toggled on, since I want to see the 18 shortcuts that I have manually pinned. Fine so far.

I have unchecked Sponsored Shortcuts, but I still am seeing sponsored shortcuts added to my dashboard whenever I open a new article. What am I doing wrong?

Now, I use Firefox Relay to mask my email address. It has always been an icon on the toolbar. It has now disappeared. I would like to use it but can't without that icon.

Hello, Firefox. So I have this feature whenever I type. When I type my first letter, it is capital, and whenever I add an comma to my sentence and hit the space key, it adds an period. I don't remember enabling that feature, and I want to disable that feature. Is there any way if I can disable that feature? Thanks in advance!
