My blog has started displaying the message, "Firefox can't open this page". The message also says, "To protect your security, accounts.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window." But opening it in a new window didn't work. I tried clearing the cache, and pasting the link into a new open tab, but neither helps. I tried opening it in Safari, and that works fine, so this seems to be a Firefox problem. Any suggestion?

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

Policy Name Certificates

Policy Value ImportEnterpriseRoots

                         true

If I could get more information on this suspected error, or how to correct it, that would be great. Thanks!

About once a week or more, a very small FF icon will appear on my desktop after startup. It will have a string of letters under it, like this one: hqWyUevN . I have never clicked on these things and always pitch them into the trash bin. But I do wonder what it is, what it means, and if it's a security issue of some sort.

Please speak slowly and use simple words. I'm not all that tech savvy.

I have been trying to get Firefox to clean up everything when I close it down,

It is so hard as if purposely a 1000 development team have worked on making it impossible.

When I close it down, it must be completely sanitised, no previous site visits, login names, passwords, suggestions - nothing.

And I should be able to achieve that with one button press, not have to go through a thousand individual settings.

I have now spent an hour checking and unchecking buttons, it is crazy. For example I go to the passwords, I have to delete each and every one individually. Maybe there is another screen somewhere, but when I want to interact with "Passwords" I naturally go to "Passwords".

And still, when I go to gmail, it autofills the gmail account! Where did that come from? I have spent an hour trying to make sure it deletes everything when it closes down.

And it should leave no trace on the PC. no temp files, nothing.

Attempting to upgrade and recommission an old HP laptop not used in several years. Currently running Firefox Version 41.0.1

Any queries to legitimate websites such as Google or Mozilla, return a "This Connection is Untrusted" display screen. Firefox security settings have been changed to lowest security, and problem persists.

It isn't that Firefox isn't reaching the websites... it's that some security setting recognizing the security certificates (like Mozilla's) is broken... and I can't get past it... even to be able to download a new browser version.

I am looking to turn on review checker and cannot see how to do it. I don't have the price tag icon displayed nor do I have any reference to Review Checker in my settings. I'm wondering if my version of Firefox supports it (133.0). Any ideas?

As creator of retroonline.net. We recently noticed Firefox have limited value size in IDB which Chrome and Edge do not have. This limitation prevents big games running on Firefox despite Firefox has the best performance on WASM. Will there be a proper way to change this limitation or plan to remove it?

Suddenly getting endless warnings from Mozilla/Firefox (with McAfee-like logo) warning of major virus contamination of laptop. "Click to delete immediately" has no effect. Suggestion to run McAfee scan show 5 major problems but McAfee profile says account paid thru August and no breaches in last four years. Says too soon to renew. How can I clear the problem if there really is one? D.

I keep getting pop-ups in the right lower corner from "mozilla firefox" (not sure if they are legit). They will say: "zeus.2020 trojan detected" or "virus detected" or "system is infected", etc. All have "Mozilla Firefox" in the upper left of the pop-up, and "via rgfirewall.xyz" at the bottom. Is this truly legit, or is it just a nuisance? I've just been closing them with the x or dismiss buttons.

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. I have appreciated Firefox for many years, so long in fact that I no longer have access to the email address that I signed up with. I have had no reason to access my account so I did not realise that it was out of date. I was accessing my account to check that I had two-factor protection and since I could not access the account I decided to create a new account and used the help pages to move my profile to the new account. I was able move my profile and access all my bookmarks and PASSWORDS! I simply uninstalled Firefox, moved my profile to another location, downloaded Firefox and copied the old profile over the newly created profile. I opened Firefox and could open the password manager and see all my passwords. I could not believe how easily I could access all the sensitive information. I needed no password - just access to the profile. This profile will be saved on any computer that I have used to log into Firefox. Anyone with access to those computers could easily repeat what I was able to do. This is a serious secuirty flaw and I simply can't believe I was able to do this!!!!!

Malwarebytes keeps blocking Mozilla files that seem to originate from it's folder in my laptop as riskware. Is this something I should make exceptions for? Or is it riskware. I'm running Win 11

What is this window called? When this window started popping up a couple of months ago, I noticed a couple of odd things happening on a website I go to. It would not let me pay them. It would look like it was going to then a white screen would pop up ans say" if you see this window then you ...........". I then have to pay on the phone or chrome. I have whitelisted the site but still does it.

For first time received email from breach-alerts@mozilla.com. Title is: Your monthly Mozilla Monitor report. Is this a scam? Other people have asked this question and Mozilla Firefox company has not made any attempt to answer these serious questions. If I do not hear back from Mozilla Firefox within a week I might remove Mozilla Firefox and use another company.

I have been trying for the past 3 days and it keeps bouncing back with this error.. You need to allow loading of Google reCaptcha service to prevent spam attacks. Please check your Privacy Settings

I have tried it on 3 different laptops and my android phone and it won't work on any of them :(
