My desktop (Windows 10) Firefox just updated to 145.0.1 and the right-click menu is defective. It has a bunch of blank lines, the only options listed are search DuckDuckGo, translate, and use AI. This ruins my browsing experience, since I can no longer open links in new tabs which is my favorite way of looking at newspaper home pages.

It's happened about three times now where, upon a restart of my computer, Firefox completely signs me out of my account. And when I sign back in, I'm also signed out of any other websites I was signed into before, all my add-ons are still there but are acting like they've just been installed for the first time, everything saved to my Firefox color is gone, and any changes I've made to my settings have been reset to the default. How can I stop this from happening, or at the very least, why does this happen in the first place?

At least once a day since Version 145 dropped Firefox has told me I need to restart to update. When I do, it shows a pop up telling my I am opening an older version of Firefox and need to create a new profile to avoid corrupting my data. Daily, sometimes twice a day I have to go in and switch profiles back to the profile that has all of my book marks. Every computer in our office has this issue now. One of them deleted a profile without prompting, and it is not even in the appdata folder with "deleteme" in front of it. It is just gone. The last update had tabs crash daily. Is there any hope of stopping the second broken update in a row from wasting my time fixing it every day?

I use Arcgis quite a bit for property info and for the last several months, it either won't fully load or has constant freezes when doing anything. It also freezes other windows I have open and most the time when I shut down those windows and start FireFox again, my home screen (Start Page) won't load? I have to dump history/cookies and sometimes flush dns. I contacted ArcGis and they say it works fine on their end. So I suspect FireFox is the issue.

I downloaded the Opera browser last night and it has no problems with this site. I won't use chrome or edge.

Any help figuring out what's going on? I have changed no settings, no vpn, no private browsing either. It seems with each FireFox update, my issues get worse?

Win 10 on desktop. FF version 145.0.1 the site in question https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/ba70b3d86f5e4bbeb7582591f3dde16a/

This started after the recent update. Any time i open more than 1 firefox window or try to move my window to a different monitor, the Menu Bar pops up and left click will be stuck only making the bar appear/disappear. I just have to close the second window because it becomes immediately unusable. I have the ui setting set to false but it still freezes new windows and doest let me click or type on anything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, ran troubleshoot mode, got rid of extensions, reset my computer. I'm at a loss. Any help would be great

For some reason, the Menu Bar kept coming up, even after I disabled it. I tired a few about:config things, the one that seemed to work was to disable the ALT key. I've been having an issue of, whenever I tab into Firefox from a different application on my computer, the alt menu opens. Firefox seems to be interpreting me opening the program as pressing the alt key, because even when I have the menu bar set to always be open, the input immediately goes to the "File" dropdown option of the menu, just as it would if I pressed the alt key. However, I tried to troubleshoot this by 1. opening a program that tracks keyboard inputs and that didn't show such a thing happening, and 2. I checked if this issue was happening with other applications that have switch the input to the upper menu bar when the alt key is pressed, and that was not the case. This is making it a lot harder to use Firefox, as using a keyboard shortcut to open a new window (ctrl+shift+p, or ctrl+i) while in a normal Firefox tab, it will not automatically open to the new window (as it is set to do automatically), it will also not let me open the new window -- either by alt-tabbing or by clicking the new window on the windows taskbar -- and instead reopens the alt menu and sets the input to that menu, locking me to the original Firefox page unless I tab into a completely different application and then into the new window. This issue also makes me unable to input key commands or text into my active tab immediately when I reopen it, instead forcing me to close the alt menu first either or clicking somewhere on the page. And since I don't keep the alt menu visible at all times, this forces the screen to shift up and down jarringly when I'm simply trying to use the computer.

I'm using Firefox on a Windows 11 computer. I've tried refreshing Firefox and have tried my absolute best to find articles related to this issue but to no luck. Thanks for any help or advice!

I have a rather strange problem and I'm not sure this is the right topic. I generally use my computer on and off all day and I never lock it until the evening when I turn it off. I went out for several hours today and when I came back there was a new version of Firefox installed. When I opened Firefox I realized it was a new version because it would not let me logon until I had completed a profile. My old version never did this. In addition all of my saved passwords had disappeared as well as my bookmarks. I'm using a Dell laptop running Win 11, about 2 years old. I don't understand how this could happen. There was no one here while I was out. I looked to see if there was a saved profile but only the one in use showed up. The current version appears to be 145.0.1. One thing that might have something to do with it. I might have been asked yesterday if I wanted to synch firefox on my computers but I'm not sure how I answered this (I'm almost 90 and my memory is a bit imperfect).

I do have Firefox on a second desktop which is running Win 10. Is it possible to use that profile. That computer has not been turned on since this happebd and is currently asleep. Any help or suggestions will really be appreciated!

After the latest auto update all of my history, tabs/windows, and bookmarks were deleted and I can't recover them. I have tried importing bookmarks and it does not allow me to upload an old data file and I can't restore my previous session. I tried checking both profiles but neither had my information saved and now when I open the about:profiles says "Another copy of Firefox has made changes to profiles. You must restart Firefox before making more changes."

I'm scared to try anything else because I don't want to mess anything up further but I really need my tabs and history back.

I restarted my computer and then reopened firefox and it had updated and I noticed my bookmarks were gone but my windows/tabs were open, so I tried to choose a file on the bookmark backup and nothing was happening so I restarted and after that all my history and tabs were gone and I couldn't restore them.
