Several times now I've closed firefox while having the open previous windows and tabs on startup on only for all my tabs to have been closed (with this time in particular being annoying due to losing tabs that I needed to have the specific link for). Is there any way to restore tabs lost in this way?

I've searched other forums and I am not having any luck. If I open 1 Firefox browser then 10-15 open instances will show up under Task Manager. They load automatically. This slows down everything and I have to delete the excess browsers. Would you please offer some advice? Thank you in advance.

Some websites won't load at all while other are very slow to load but some will load just fine, example Crunchyroll (screenshot attached) won't load at all its just spinning loading icon and a white page but if I try it in a different browser it works just fine, but with Youtube it will load but is choppy and low quality videos and same thing as before I load it in a different browser and no problems. I have tried every possible solution I can find from clearing cookies and cache to refreshing Firefox even scanned for malware and virus nothing has worked please help me figure out what is happening and why it's only with Firefox that I am having this problem and its not hardware can play online just fine and download games from steam perfectly fine.

This is the message I get when I try to access my Bookmarks: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have already tried to find out from Microsoft if their latest reinstallation of Office Professional could have caused the problem. In many cases when one opens a new tab, the new one is opened on the right of the "parent tab". After reading the web page of the new tab, one often decides that the new tab is no longer useful and deletes it. Firefox automatically opens the tab on the right of the deleted tab, rather than resuming the "parent tab" on the left. This seems to be an ineffective design as probabilistically there are perhaps >90% chance one wants to go back to the "parent tab".

Q1: should Firefox change the default for resuming the left? Q2: is there a setting that user can change?

When I use Gemini 3 visual layout function to generate a homepage-like page, but Firefox cannot show any content of the result. It works fine in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

I downloaded firefox desktop for my imac 27" none of the passwords I had on file would work so I changed the password and tried it. It appeared to work but after a while the incorrect password came up again. I continued to try using the code you sent via email several times and even though it appeared to. accept the password it still rejects your code. I have tried both caps and lower case characters but it still rejects the login

I want to delete/remove subject folder from my Windows 11 desktop. I did not create this folder; it suddenly appeared after I reinstalled the Firefox browser. These are the steps I am using in the deletion process: I right click on the folder and click on the delete icon. At the top of the window it says "Folder Access Denied." (Image 1) Below that it says, "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder." If I click on the "Continue" button, then the error message changes to "You require permission from OWNER/(me) ... to make changes to this folder." (Image 3) The permissions for this folder listed in the "Security" tab lists three groups: 1. "SYSTEM," 2. "F... S... (...@ Outlook.com)" and 3. "Administrators (Owners/Administrators)." All the foregoing have full control and modify control for this folder. The "More details" seen in Images 1 and 3 is grayed out so I cannot get any additional information.
