I am a user over at the Arcamax website I use it nightly to read the comics section for the last two days i keep getting an error message .

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.

I went into my system cleared out the cookies for that website still cant get into the website I switch over to Chrome and it works fine but slow as molasses.

I deleted all the shortcuts from Firefox desktop browser's homepage and now I cannot add them back.

There are no blank shortcut icons on the page anymore. No setting to enable them. Shortcuts are enabled. Page is mostly blank, only has Firefox icon.

I tried to close and open Firefox as well as disabling and enabling the shortcut setting. Adding more rows did not do anything.

Before this issue occurred, I had one shortcut on the page that was linking to localhost. I opened the edit window to the shortcut and pasted the same address and saved changes. After that I removed the shortcut. All of the blank tiles immediately got removed from page and I had no way of adding more shortcuts.

so my work gmail has a block on gmail and before i would open a private tab and then youtube would work, but after i signed into my work email on my private tab now i cant open youtube again. how would i sign out of my account on a private tab but not on normal firefox.

I have been trying to clear out the cache under settings (cookies & site data) (everything is checked under clear data) everything clears out except for 440 now 454 KB of disk space. I cannot get it to clear out. I even uninstalled fire fox and it was clear for a couple of uses and now it is back and instead of 440 it is now 454. ••• Cookies and Site Data Your stored cookies, site data, and cache are currently using 454 KB of disk space. For a week my pinned tabs are lost every time I open Firefox. I have checked my settings, they were the same as always. I have de-selected them, closed and re-opened firefox, selected them again, closed and re-opened again, pinned my tabs again. Then closed and re-opened firefox and still they are not there. I have done this multiple time with the same results. This seems to have started after the last update.

This is not the first time you have sent an email to me indicating I should "View all sites where your info is exposed", and each time I receive your emails the sites you suggest are sites I have never seen before, let alone logged into with a password.

I use a Password Organizer Book, with all of my logins and passwords for each site I use. I do not use a password app, and have NEVER used a password app. Each time I go to the website you suggest, It's always a site I have never seen before so it would be impossible to login and change the password. I always check my Password Organizer Book to make sure.

I don't know what you want me to do since I cannot login to the website you are suggesting. Is there action I should be taking? I don't know what it would be, but if you know please let me know.

Roughly every 2 weeks I backup important files to a external hard drive.

One of the things I always backup is my Firefox profile. I have been doing this for years without any problems.

I 7zip my profile and copy it to the hard drive.

I tried to do this yesterday (July 25 2025), and was getting access denied messages for files in the profile. So I tried to simply copy the profile. Same thing access denied.

I cleared the history, used wise disk cleaner, rebooted my machine and tried again. Same thing access denied when trying to backup or copy the profile.

I am assuming that this is happening since 141 because I updated Firefox since the last time I backed up my profile, and never had a problem previously.

Could anyone have an idea what the problem is? Thank you for your time.

Today I went to TikTok, was using it earlier in the day also, when it showed me logged out and when I go to log in using my email, a windows security pop up shows, saying that I should insert my security key into the USB, something I don't have, and that this is being asked because of Firefox, which I can click cancel, but when I try to sign in with my email, I can't seem to, the password doesn't seem to be working, and can't sign in with the QR code through the phone which connects with the app. Still signed in just fine on Chrome and the app on my phone, so not sure what is up, as that shows my password should be fine due to neither of those logging me out if my password had been changed.

That I changed one thing yesterday related to something "secure", was that I enabled SecureBoot in BIOS, because games like Battlefield require it now for the anti-cheat and I'm curious if this has somehow affected this in some way as that's the only thing that changed recently for me.

If I don't use the custom adjustments in my Chrome css, seven buttons on that right side of the menubar are hidden, including the min-max close buttons.

This is problematic when I'm troubleshooting Firefox, and the css is disabled. If I want to close or take the browser out of max mode, I must move those buttons to the navbar, which has no such restriction accommodating those buttons, not to mention why is it necessary for that min-max close trio to monopolize 20% of the menubar. Waste of space. Inefficient.

I'm also curious why must that frame at the top of this sites pages remains persistent, and follows the user down the page, so that when you're composing, and accidentally (and all to often) touch one of those links, it get superimposed over the message, and you must move the cursor to the bottom of the page get rid of it. Not to mention, that frame shrinks the working area of the page about 30% vertically.

I mean, once you have already navigated to the destination page, and you're composing, how often/likely are you going to need to access that area?
