I was trying to fix a printing problem I was having and stupidly re-set Firefox. I lost all of my bookmarks, settings, etc. I un-installed it because the look was so different I thought maybe I could get back what I had lost if I re-installed. Well, that didn't work. Now I have nothing - no bookmarks (which are extremly important), no nothing. Please help!

I cannot log into spectrum email for the last 2 weeks and I can log in to my email with edge. need help to see why I cant log in to spectrum email using firefox and duck duck go? using my lap top.

After my Windows 10 laptop being in sleep mode I found my background picture changed and all my Firefox tabs missing (while my bookmarks, add-ons, history etc. saved, and all other apps functioning properly). Recently Closed Windows menu was inactive and using Restore option in Library had no effect (despite availability of recent saves).

I found out that Mozilla folder was just missing in %appdata% (e.g. Profile Folder in about:support leaded to a non-existent directory). No manual changes to Firefox settings/data were made and no new profiles created.

What might be the problem and are there any ways to restore my tabs?

 An update or two (maybe more?) ago, the plus sign with which we add shortcuts to the Firefox browser home page/new tab page disappeared, so now we can no longer add shortcuts on the home page/new tab page.  Please help.  I am running Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64-bit) on a Windows 11 Pro 64-bit if that makes any difference.  Thanks.

When I search directly from the address bar, the search always defaults to google.com/....whatever I am searching for. But even though my region is set to United Kingdom, my search results are definitely not the same as if I were to navigate to www.google.co.uk and then search for the same string. Is there any way for the default google search to use google.co.uk rather than google.com Thanks?

I'm encountering a problem with my contracting service website; it’s not loading properly across Mozilla Firefox. The site is essential for my local contracting and renovation business, so this issue is impacting my operations.

I've already cleared the cache and verified the server status, but the issue continues. I’d greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on what might be causing this problem.

I used to have a home icon to return to firefox home page; it has disappeared.Any help getting it back would be greatly appreciated.I think I might have gotten it back thru the extension app but don't remember the process. Thanks

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.

I was using FF on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS. Had version FF 120.x and playing video in Netflix worked fine. Then I updated to FF 124.x and playing video stopped with error F7355-1203.

I've checked the DRM setting and it is enabled, I checked addons and I have OpenH264 and Widevine installed, both set to always active.

I've checked installed codecs and I do have libavcodec58 installed. No update for that available via apt. I also have ffmpeg installed, no problem with that either. I can play Netflix videos in Chrome, but not in Firefox now. Something happened to Firefox when I updated from 120.x to 124.x. Today I updated to 125.x, same problem, Netflix video won't play.

I've unchecked the DRM setting and re-checked it, and that does reinstalled Widevine but does not fix the problem.

Any ideas what could be the cause?

I posted here the other day and no help came my way.

I had all my emails accounts at Google, my xbox account, my facebook and my MS account hacked.

What do they all have in common?

Their log in and password were saved in my Firefox.

The other gmail accounts I have that are not saved were NOT hacked.

Is it just a coincidence?

Can anyone at Mozilla care to respond?

Hello. How can I post HTML code snippets in support.mozilla.org questions ? All HTML code is rendered and none of the usual markdown (``` etc.) works.

When I go to History and then Clear Recent History with History and Temporary File checked and the hit Clear nothing happens.

I found that I can delete the histories one by one with the Delete key.

I accidentally closed Firefox with about 100 tabs open (doing research). I still had one ff window open with only one tab and I went to History (there is no session restore on my firefox-been thru that before) and selected restore recent tabs. That only opened about 10 tabs . BUT, now that becomes my " previous session" so how do I get my earlier session back. If I close FF and then open, all I get is that window with 10 useless tabs. This has happened before so I have FF set as default, and "open to previous window/tabs is selected". So how do I get my previous session open?
