i reinstalled windows and re downloaded firfox i logged into my firfox account like a normaly doo to get all my data but non of my data is getting synced it always works but it is not working no i need my data i have my passwords to all my account on it pls help

Hi. I used braindead the backup function in the bookmark tab (see picture) After that all my bookmarks are gone. I thought its not a problem since im always sinced with firefox, but guess firefox already sinced my empty bookmarklist or i just dont know how to get the old one. I made a fresh windows install a few hours ago, so i guess i dont have a local backup on my pc. Kinda funny that Firefox does a backup right after a new install, but not when importing a bookmarklist.

Is there a way to get an old backup out of my mozilla account, or are 10+ years of saving bookmarks just gone?

In trying to update to a new version of Linux I inadvertently lost my passwords on Firefox. I have them on my Andoid 'phone but how can I get them back on my desktop? Thank you Thomas

So recently I had reinstalled windows and reformated all my drives, I am also sure that this account is my only firefox account. But when i checked the sync data it shows only 1 sync data which is today 14/3/2025. I am also sure that I had left all my sync data as default therefore it should have automatically sync. But currently I do not have access to my bookmarks, etc

Hallo, ich musste den PC austauschen. Bisher habe ich mich bei Firefox angemeldet, syncroniert und dann hatte ich diese wieder. Dieses mal ist das nicht so. Was mache ich falsch?

None of my saved passwords in my Mozilla account are showing up when I switch laptops and try to logon to various sites. Instead I have to manually enter the passwords for the sites every time even though the sites show that I have saved passwords for that site in my Mozilla account. When I type the password in a old or new site, Mozilla doesn't even ask if I want to save the password anymore.

Hi, I'm new to asking the Firefox community a question, but I hope you can give me directions to solve my problem:

I currently have Firefox v. 78.15.0esr on an iMac (early 2008) running OS 10.9.5.

I know that version has been unsupported by Mozilla for a few years, but I still want to keep this computer alive after I install the latest Firefox version to the newer (refurbished) iMac M3 2023 which should come with OS 14 or OS 15.

I hope that downloading the latest Firefox for Mac version off your website should be pretty straightforward, but what I really need help on is how to bring my Profile residing in the Library/Caches/Firefox folder on my older iMac to become my Profile on the latest Firefox version on the newer iMac (while still keeping my older iMac).

Firefox 136.0 update is causing so many issues. I'm getting non stop Firefox master password prompts when I use Firefox now. I've tried all sorts of trouble shooting with no luck. I gave Firefox a "tune up" and "Refreshed" it and it deleted all my "Firefox Multi-Account Container settings". I had a ton of websites saved there and would like to get them back. How can I regain my "Firefox Multi-Account Container settings"and reinstall them from a recent TimeMachine backup? Thanks!

I'm on a M1 Mac running Mac OS 15.3.1

Firefox on Sequoia 15.3.1 was updated to 136 and now I cannot advance Firefox Reels when clicking the forward arrow. Firefox 135 on another mac still works. Cache has been cleared as well as browsing history and ad blockers are off.

Hi, This is not a first time when I save a password on my mobile and don't get it on my laptop or vice versa. I do force sync but it does not work. It says OK but does nothing. Any advise on how it can be fixed?
