the build in VPN is not working anymore: the messages we get are often like "no internet connection". i did use it now for some weeks, but after the last update it stopped working now for some days.

La France a un ip française ( 63.245.218.121 🇫🇷 France Paris, Département de Paris Pour quel motif je reçois un ip us même si le serveur se trouve en Belgique et pas une ip belge ou espagnole même si le serveur se trouve en Espagne? En vous remerciant pour les explications et c'est d'ailleurs pour ce motif que je n'achète pas le vpn mozilla. Cordialement Patrick

My browser was recently updated to 150.0.2, and on the new launch page after update describing new features, it prompted me that the new free mozilla vpn was available to try. When I clicked on the link to follow the steps to set it up, it said to click the vpn icon in the toolbar, but I don't see that icon there. When I go to more tools -> customize toolbar to try to find that icon to add it back, it doesn't appear among the toolbar options. Is this something I still don't have access to because it's in a limited beta, or is there some other way I should be accessing this?

My Firefox browser just updated to version 150. I was notified that Mozilla now has a free browser-based VPN. I have followed the instructions listed, but I don't see the VPN option available. Also, I don't recall seeing a pop-up request from Firefox about getting access to this VPN.

Is it possible for me to get access with my account?

I want to setup the VPN in firefox but the instructions refer to the VPN icon which is not visible to me. When I try to add it to the toolbar the instructions say to click more tools from the menu at the top right, but there isn't a selection called more tools.

I am really excited by the possibility of a built in VPN on Firefox.

However I logged in to UK BBC Channel 5 and tried to view a programme,

I was able to browse content but as soon as I pressed Play for the first series of the drama the provider picked up that I was using a VPN and shut me down.

Is this a teething problem ans will it likely be fixed?

Hi, I am on Firefox version 150, but I can't see the new free VPN button. I wanted to try it out, but I can't see it anywhere in my settings. Any advice would be appreciated.

I enabled the Firefox browser VPN as a test and then disabled it, after the Google search no longer worked.

Error says Google.com is unavailable, can't connect to servers etc.

Any ideas how to fix it ?

I'm aware that Firefox VPN comes with a 50 GB/month data limit. Having used it recently, I'm not finding anything that indicates how much data I have left for the month, and I haven't found anything pertaining to this under Settings or the FAQ.

At the last FF update, I discovered that I had VPN on my top status bar but what does it do?

I have v. 150.0.1 (64 bit). Also Windows 11. I live in France and the only reason to use a VPN is to watch a UK soap which I cannot watch by any other means unless it's live on the TV. I know how to turn it on (obvious), so when I use the BBC website, this is what I do. But it makes not the slightest bit of difference as I am still recognised as being outside the UK.

Am I not doing something please?

Don't know what happened but suddenly the VPN icon got huge after an update to FF151. It may have happened after I installed Nightly. Don't remember. Any idea how I can fix it?
