I cannot get past the secure connection failed! I have cleared cookies, cache, etc. I have turned off the firewall, and restarted my computer more times that I can count....

Whenever I search something and there is a youtube video included in the search results, all links direct to that video. In the example image it show me hovering over a website link and in the bottom left hand corner it instead tries to open a youtube link at the bottom of the page.

The Firefox browser I was using failed to back up the synchronization data of the domestic version due to negligence in reinstalling the new version. Starting from May 24th, after logging into the domestic version account, data synchronization cannot be achieved. (Currently, all downloads automatically redirect to the international version, and the login account is also the international version account. However, the domestic version data was not backed up before, and it is necessary to log in to the domestic version again to back up the data.) . Is there any expert who can offer a solution? Just updated to 139.0.1 and got a surprise. My New Tab Favorites Icons now have Push Pins in their upper left corners, leaving less space for the icons, so of course my icons are now smaller than before. Why do the people maintaining the system at Mozilla keep messing with the New Tabs? Last time, they thought they needed to include a large image of the Firefox icon, again shrinking the remaining screen real estate for my icons. That got fixed. Now they decided each favorite icon needs a rather large push pin to indicate that it belongs there. Somebody thought this would be a good idea? Why can't they just leave it alone?

im using firefox on ubuntu, version 139.0.4. when i browse the internet using firefox, every some time the toolbar and the search bar "freeze" - i am unable to click anything, from the url, to any of the buttons. it takes up to like 1/2 minutes for the search bar and the toolbar to work again. i never had this issue before, neither on ubuntu (and other linux distributions), nor on windows...

When using the new version of Firefox, I found that bookmarks only appeared in new tabs. Once I opened other web pages, there were no bookmarks above the screen, which made me feel inconvenient. Previously, the new tabs could also be customized, but now they can only be blank or the default pages of Firefox. So, can the new version of Firefox solve these problems? Or which of the older versions of Firefox can still meet my requirements?

Hello, FF 139.0.4 on MAC Sequoia15.5. Lost ALL references to bookmarks, i.e. Bookmarks Toolbar totally gone. How can/do I restore from .jsonlz4 file in bookmarkbackups. Also, will I be able to salvage my previous profile, presumably containing my older "Tabs on Bottom" work-around? Alternatively, is there a process to restore JUST Firefox from Time Machine? Appreciate any advice.

Hi. I'm asking this question because I'm not quite sure how to describe this issue through a Google search. Recently, I've noticed that whenever I click and drag anything, an icon will pop up while I'm doing so. Attached is an example, I click-and-dragged on the "Learn More" hyperlink off to the right.

Is there any way to disable the icon that pops up? It bothers me and seems to slow things down, which isn't ideal. I'm not the most well-versed when it comes to Firefox's more advanced settings (the options in about:config and whatnot) so I wouldn't know where to start.

I just got a new Epson 3-in-one printer and tried to sign up for the warranty. I got a message that the warranty was expired... I went to the Epson support site on Firefox and Malwarebytes blocked the site as malware... It said I could add the site as approved, but I don't know how to do that. "https://www.epsoncom.com/my-account/home". The Epson site said I already had an account but my password was incorrect. I had an Epson printer more than ten years ago; I don't remember the password and they don't provide an option to reset it. HELP, PLEASE.

can you give us the option to change the hotkeys/shortcuts please? is it possible for this to be an option for the future, I and I believe a lot of others switching from chrome to firefox would like the accessibility to change it as to what they're used to. Thank you very much for your time.

cannot update browser. Currently using Linex Mint, #139, but latest is 150. As stated above, when I try to update, says browser update disabled by organization. Do not understand, I never authorized disabling browser updating.

I found this file on my desktop. File type is Firefox HTML Document. Size 1KB. I've never noticed this before and wonder it I should delete it, move it, or what. Anything to worry about? I haven't opened it.

Once I visit any web site that uses HTTPS there is approximately a 90% chance it'll take seconds or even minutes to secure the connection. This never happens on other browsers as they load such pages instantaneously.

I already cleaned my data up and removed the extensions, both suspected and innocent bystanders, to no avail.

As stated in the title, I'm using Firefox 139.0.1 x64 on Windows 11 (24H2, build 26100.4061). This started happening after an automatic Firefox update, I never changed anything in my system configuration.

I updated Firefox this morning to 139.0.4 on my Mac and now the '+' sign to add a new tab no longer appears on the tab bar. I can still add new tabs with Command T however.

Any suggestions on how to restore the '+' sign?

I'd like to ask about Firefox's behavior and settings. I'm using Firefox with vertical tabs (using an add-on), but it seems to be behaving strangely. The things that have changed since before are: 1. Open from pinned tab 2. Now opens in a new tab → Previously it opened in the same tab 3. Clicking on a newly opened tab opens a new tab again → Previously it would open pinned tabs/same tabs → in a new tab It has changed. I haven't changed any of my Firefox settings. Windows 11 Home 23H2 Firefox version 139.0.4 (64-bit).

In Chrome, for example, if you type "maps" in the address bar, it will autofill to "maps.google.com", which then redirects to the correct URL, "google.com/maps". Initially, it doesn’t do this, but if you do it repeatedly, Chrome eventually learns and sends you directly to that URL when you type "maps". The same happens with "gmail" or even just "gm", which redirect to "gmail.com" or "mail.google.com". Does Firefox have this kind of feature?

I think I browsed a reddit thread from a few years ago asking this same problem having something to do with autofill frequency which doesn't work, because the actual url is not, in the example of maps, maps.google.com and the url I want to enter redirects to it.
