The Chinese account logs in with empty data and invalid synchronization. If you decide to terminate the cooperation with the Chinese version, you would like to publish a notice and open the synchronization server for the data. So that Chinese users can export their data and migrate it to their international accounts.

I logged into my Firefox Sync account last week on a newly re-imaged computer. My old computer is listed under "Connected Services" and for the first few days, when I selected "Sync" from the top right menu, the subsequent menu included the name of the the old computer and the list of tabs. That list of tabs is no longer listed and I haven't been able to find a way to access it. Attached is an image of the menu where the list of tabs was previously listed. Any suggestions are appreciated.

How to make Firefox my default browser on my new computer a Windows 11 computer. I’m to the point where I’ve got a pop-up window, which says sync Firefox on your phone or tablet. I am asked toOpen Firefox on my mobile device. Then Go to the menu and tap sign in. That’s where I am. Now I’m asked to tap “ready to scan” and hold my phone over the code. Unfortunately, my Firefox app does not show a ready to scan option after I get to sign in. Help!!

need to replace bookmarks on server not merge them, w/bookmarks on locale device

currently when i log in it merges what is on server w/ what i just reworked and getting rid of multiples ... will have to do this again as i clean even more so need ot know how to accomplish exchange not merger

I have two laptops - both identical accounts signed in and would like to sync them so that when I open Firefox on laptop 2 it will show me Firefox on laptop 1. and if laptop 2 was last used, then when open laptop 1, it shows me Firefox on laptop 2.

currently it is separate and unique instances.

how do i automate the sync?

Trying to get same layout on new computer through syncing. I seem to be able to find my old bookmarks, but not with a simple click as before. Cant even find how to set homwpage on new computer

I made the mistake I will never make again of signing into a Mozilla account in Firefox. Suddenly everything about the browser was completely different. I realized it had synced to my primary computer without asking me a [expletive] thing about what I wanted to sync or if I wanted to do that now.

How do I unsync the second computer so that Firefox goes back to the way it was before the unexpected forced sync? I had those settings the way I wanted them for a reason.

If I have edited the passwords file and bookmarks file and saved them to a folder via export feature. When I import the edited file into firefox how can I make that the master file and not have the other instances of firefox sync all the old data back to the master one I edited? For instance I have FF on android, linux and windows, if I import the edited file to the windows instance what is to stop the linux from syncing back to the windows machine? I have had this happen previously where a newer instance of firefox overwrote the bookmarks and password files. Will I have to delete all bookmarks and passwords and import them from the new edited file on each device?

I have 150+ tabs open of Firefox Android. I would like to close some of them conveniently.

I have synced my tabs and on desktop I have now 2 ways to access them.

1. On the left "Synced Tabs". This is very nice, I can filter by text and open the appropriate tab. Now I decide, I want to get rid of it. Closing on closes on Desktop, which is expected behavior.

2. Using the "Show tabs on other device" icon. This lists all my tabs, some directly, some in sub-directory "inactive". I could now click the x button next to the tab and close it. But: Having 150+ tabs open, it is very difficult to find the open tab in question. I even have to click "Show more tabs".

Basically I would like to use version 1, find a tab, right click and select "close synced tab".

Am I missing an option?

I find myself in an unfortunate situation; my computer was remotely accessed without my permission, my email and data compromised, identity stolen and more. While I have been working on that, and reporting such things to the appropriate companies and authorities, I am left in one of many unfortunate situations. My Firefox account was signed in, thus leaving passwords in the manager compromised, as visible as if it were someone sitting at my computer with it unlocked. I am working to change those passwords, documenting them offline, but I am worried to sign into my Mozilla account on a desktop computer, in the event that any malicious add-ons or extensions were installed. 1. Does being signed in to the mobile Mozilla leave me at risk of Spyware if any such add-ons or extensions were installed to the desktop client? 2. With the add-on and extension auto-sync that happens with signing into a Firefox account, I am worried that even if I buy a new computer, modem and router, that signing into the Firefox account could risk compromising the new computer and network. Can these add-ons and extensions be removed or unlinked from the account in any way without signing in on a desktop/laptop?

To sync a mobile device, the instructions say to open Firefox browser on mobile, from Menu go to Sign In, aim phone camera at QR code. The 3 lines at the screen bottom right (i'm assuming this is a menu but printing an icon labelled "menu" is less cryptic) offers no sign in opportunity.

Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? Thank you!

I need help transferring my bookmarks to a new Mac computer I created a Mozilla account, that was verified, but on the new computer I cant find anywhere to enable "sync now" Can you help me transfer these bookmarks?
