This keeps happening and is getting worse every day.

Firefox is refusing to load tabs sometimes every few hours but recently every few minutes so I have to shut it down and restart it, sometimes when I do I lose all my pinned and non pinned tabs, I can't remember what they are so manually restoring them doesn't work.

There should be a way to backup all tabs so they can be restored when this happens.

FIX IT FFS.

Hey guys, My friend got on my pc and shut it off without me looking and somehow when i opened it back up all my tabs(couple hundred) distributed between 3 windows were lost. I've tried all the usual recovery options by doing previous or session restore, its not popping up in recently closed windows as well, where i usually recover my sessions from if it does go wrong. Is there any other way where this data may be stored, to recover a session from 31st Dec 2025.

Would greatly appreciate any help :D

I powered up my MacBook the other day, and Firefox updated. Then, suddenly, all my bookmarks and history were gone. I have tried the "about:Profiles" and nothing is there. I have read here that many with OS have encountered the same issue.

What is the fix?

all bookmarks are now missing. Firefox did an update recently when I restarted my desktop. I have gone through the forums and just checked the 'Places Database' when I pressed verify integrity I get the message:

so now what should I do??

PLEASE give me back my bookmarks, without being a f-ing programmer. Import does not work, no way to restore, feels like I am supposed to become an IT tech just to undo something an apparent update did to me.

Aloha — An update to Firefox must have occurred, and I am unable to access my open tabs and bookmarks. I have had a Firefox account for 15 years at least and a lot of information was in my folders and bookmarks. Please let me know how the information can be recovered. I tried to follow several of the instructions provided and was not able to fix the issue. I have a recovery code/Mozilla key, but I am not sure where or how to use it.

I do all my work and personal stuff on Firefox so I need timely assistance to fix the problem.

After both a MS and Firefox update, I have lost all my Firefox bookmarks

I have viewed several videos online that showed how to restore them, they seemed straightforward enough, but I always hit a dead end.

Firefox>menu>Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks>LIbrary>Import And BackUp>Restore>ChooseFile

Once I get to Restore, there are no dates available to me to pick from.All I get is Choose File, but when I click on that, nothing happens. Dead end.

I have used firefox as my brouser on my PC for years with all my bookmarks and passwords. Now without my old computer, how do I restore all my account passwords and bookmarks as it was before.? I am using windows 11 on a Dell desktop PC. Please help. I am not a computer genius. Is there a phone number to call for live help.

I just moved from Windows 10 to Linux Fedora Workstation and I used the "Back up and restore" option in the Sync Tab available in Firefox on Windows 10 to save my data in the form of a unique html file. (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-backup)

But now that I'm in Firefox on Fedora, this option does not seem to be available (in the Sync tab in Settings). Is there any way I could at least recover my bookmarks ?

I'm using Firefox 147.0.1 from the official Federa repo.

I just had Firefox overwrote a session restore I had open for a long time with a few hundred tabs. Is there any way to see prior session history or backup these sessions without manually copying the files? If not will these features ever be added?

I have lost all my Firefox bookmarks. All gone. I have searched online for solutions, and have seen what appears to be a standard procedure for doing so. Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks> LIbrary>Import and Backup>Restore

This is where it breaks down for me......I see no date available to use. All I see is "Choose File" and when I click that, nothing happens. That is the dead end I am at now.

Can anyone out there point me in the right direction? Many thanks. Jay
