My addons/extensions disappear when I reboot my MACBOOK . I have installed DuckDuckGo, ADBlocker, Capitalone and some others. However, when I restart my computer the next day all of my addons/extensions are no longer there. I have reinstalled at least 3 times and with the sme result. Please Help ! Thanks

The second time I lost all my data(200 tabs, bookmark panel, pws, addons). My steps: 1. Sync all data into 1 firefox account from 1 device 2. Reinstall my OS on the same device. 3. Connecting back by logging in and pressing the sync button and... Blah! I see nothing. No synced tabs, no bookmark panel. At the same time I did this kinda operation with having connected 1 account to 2 virtual devices(1 - real OS, 2 - Virtualbox). So could you please explain how Firefox Sync works? Is there a way to use sync account as a keeper for tabs and bookmark panel without using 2 devices? Or other ways? Thanks!

Trying to request a demo from bigcommerce.com. It complains javascript is not enabled. ("Please enable javascript and try again" about:config shows javascript.enabled = true.

What I've tried: 1. Disabled all addons / extensions 1 by 1 until they were all disabled. 2. Turned off tracking protection 3. Turned off content blocking. 4. Set all group policies to "not configured" (Had only disabled off telemetry and update any way). 5. Set network settings to "no proxy". 6. Cleared cache 7. Removed all bigcommerce.com cookies. 8. Reset all permissions (location, camera, notifications etc).

If I restart with add ons disabled it works fine, yet I'd disabled all add ons. The only preferences I had disabled were related to telemetry (in about:config).

Whenever I look in my history and click on a website it immediately moves to the top because Firefox only remembers the most recent visit. I want a proper history that shows all visits with well structured time. How can I do this? Is there any good addon?

I found multiple pages recently that cause problems with the network monitor in firefox developer tools. I attached an image as an example. The three requests are selected always as a "block". They seem to be somehow related but I do not find any documentation what their relation is. My educated guess (also see https://superuser.com/questions/1537396/what-is-the-reason-firefox-combines-multiple-requests-in-the-network-monitor) that it is HTTP/2 related. However I still do not get how to handle debugging in such circumstances. I'd like to see the individual requests and answers for debugging purposes. I do not find a way to reach that goal. Is it a technical restriction?

at work we use a proxy network with authentication ONLY with the firefox browser i have proxy problems. I see the page access denied by the proxy server, the only solution is to close and open the application.

My Firefox wants to upgrade itself to version 79.

I'm now running version 73. Earlier this year Firefox auto-updated itself to version 74. Cors Everywhere did not work in version 74, and I need to use Cors Everywhere frequently. To get Cors Everywhere to work, I had to go back to version 73, and of course lost all my bookmarks, logins, etc.

So before allowing it to update to version 79, I'd like to know if Cors Everywhere works in version 79.

In the past few weeks when I click in an Outlook email "click here to view it in a web browser", the page is opened by Internet Explorer. It used to be Firefox. How can I clear out IE? Firefox is listed as the default browser. Interestingly when I posted the question, the contents of this message was deleted and was not sent. Is that MS at work?

Hi, I have a problem with login in to my Firefox Sync Account, after clean installation of Windows 10. I have not recall to enable 2FA in Firefox Sync i have never used it to activate account on my PC or Android Phone. I'm using 2FA to my Google Account witch is the email for my Firefox Sync Account. But supposedlyi did.

I have tried to use keys generated by Google Authenticator (witch is only 2FA token I use, not counting Facebook App, witch I use only for FB) but no success. I tried to use this link https://accounts.firefox.com/signin and then use proper password. Then there is an information to check email for confirmation link. I get no email, noting in spam nothing nowhere. I did add the accounts@firefox.com email address to protect it from spam filters, but nothing in 4 days, waiting for a miracle. 

In an act of desperation i did change the password for the account. And i received email to confirm this chance witch a did. The email was send from accounts@firefox.com e-mail, and it arrived in my inbox immediately.

Why i do not get the confirmation email?

I'm trying to free up some space on my hard drive and noticed I have 2 versions of Firefox installed. Versions 57.0 and 73.0.1. How can I delete the older version without uninstalling FF completely? Thanks in advance

Ok, so apparently I have forgotten my master password. How I did this I have no clue since its the same password I use for everything, and I know its a bad idea, but I just wanted an extra layer in case someone stole my laptop.

So, since if I have forgotten my master password, that is the same as 99% of my other passwords, I CANNOT take the chance of just reseting it and losing all the others, cause surely I won't get them right. I know I won't be able to login into google they've refused to allow me access to my main account with them for months. I won't get into that stuffs just this stuff.

I've been reading through the site here, and have tried a thing or two but none of the questions really sound like what I need:

I've forgotten my master password, and I cannot reset it for fear of losing my other passwords which may have been forgot. I'm set as the default user and there are no other users for the computer or browser. Google has been a bear about letting me into my accounts there, so the fear of losing what I can access is real.
