For the last 2-3 day I have been experiencing a box that asks for my signature each time I go to a new website. I can't move the box. I can't screenshot it. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

with this new version i lost everything i need to get back to an older version and get all my extentions my bookmarks back all my s desktop items that i had linked to firefox are gone i can no longer get face book or anything back to firefox book marks every thing i had with firefox

Hello, I am using Linux Mint on a desktop with the latest version of Firefox. Two weeks ago I could login to the Discover website with no problems. Suddenly I can not log in, but get an error message that something is wrong and I can't login. I can login using Chrome on this machine. My wife gets the same message when she tried to login to her account on my computer. After several discussions with Discover, all I get is "it is not our problem."

I am having no problems logging into other accounts with Firefox on this computer.

I have not explicitly changed anything on the browser or computer. I have done some updates which included Firefox. I can login on a different Linux computer using an older version of Firefox. Of course the updates were also to the computer and I will ask the same question to the Linux forum.

I really like Firefox and would hate to have to change to Chrome.

Every time I try to log onto https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company I get the following message Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem. I can log on from my mobile so I know the site is working

FF is offering up possible login names for a particular site I have used previously even though I have removed all related browsing history, form data, and cookies (and cleared the cache). What am I missing? Is it using stored history for unrelated sites to guess at a user name, or is there some other hidden history I need to clear?

I’m currently facing a very frustrating issue with Firefox. I have been using Firefox for many years, and it is my favorite and most comfortable web browser for my day-to-day work. I rely on it heavily as all my bookmarks and other important details are saved there.

However, over the past few weeks, Firefox has been crashing more than 10 times a day. I have already tried all the troubleshooting steps available in the forums and through AI support, but none of them have resolved the issue. I also tried installing and using the Firefox Beta version, but the problem still persists.

In our environment, other users and devices are not experiencing this issue, so it does not appear to be related to internal firewall or antivirus restrictions.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue? I am attaching the error screen that appears after the crash along with the crash report for you

As of yesterday my Firefox browser no longer displays some screens within Amazon Prime correctly. It displays what should be images as text, which is difficult to read, unlike Microsoft Edge, which displays the Amazon webpage correctly. I am running Windows 10 with a support extension through October 2026, so could it be an update from Microsoft Windows or Mozilla Firefox that has caused the problem. Thanks for your help.

FireFox browser closed and when I opened it all my bookmarks are gone, all of my history is gone everything is gone as though I never ever used firefox in my life.

All of a sudden, my default search engine changed to Google. I didn't do it and don't want it. The "settings" still show Firefox as my default, but it doesn't stop Google from hijacking my searches. I want to get rid of it.

I did not really know what happened but every time I opened home page, it did not load. It was working before but suddenly it didn't. I have tried writing "about:home" into search bar and it returned nothing. Just a blank page and an empty search bar.

I've checked the settings and it should be fine. Nothing wrong with it. I've checked the flatpak version and its ok. I was able to open my home tab.

I am using Firefox 148.0.2 (64-bit) Debian .deb.

History drop down-Restore Previous Session MENU OPTION AND Recently Closed Windows MENU OPTION tab choice ARE DARK!!! Not active!!! Why? (If they are there to be seen they should always be active for use)

I use these ALL THE TIME!! Where is that function??? Why is MY history from yesterday NOT there for me?? I need it right now!

My life is busy and stressful enough without Firefox or Apple or Microsoft adding to it!!!

Apple computer w/Tahoe OS 26.31

My computer shut down. I turned it back on, and the browser was completely updated. Nothing! I'm panicking. There's not a single backup anywhere. there is no folder on the desktop «Old Firefox Data» I don't know what to do I tried to restore bookmarks, but the list only showed other browsers.

I have recently purchased a new Windows 11 computer, and want to install Firefox there and transfer all my bookmarks, passwords, etc. There are obviously quite a few Support articles on this topic, and seemingly quite a few methods to use: copy and paste profile folder, sync, the backup/restore function within Settings, etc. I'm a bit reluctant to use sync, as some users report it can be an incomplete transfer. My current profile also may contain some "corruption", so I'm reluctant to copy the entire profile folder to the new computer.

My questions are: 1. Why is it "best is to avoid restoring a full profile folder"? 2. Is this the complete list of "important files that are safe to restore/transfer"? 2. In my profile folder, there are several files that start with the same file name, but then have different file extensions. For example: cookies.sqlite, cookies.sqlite.bak, cookies.sqlite-shm, cookies.sqlite-wal. Should I restore ALL these files, or just "cookies.sqlite"? 3. Is the correct procedure to copy the selected files from the "old" profile, and then paste them to the "new" profile, which presumably would overwrite files of the same name in the "new" profile? Popup GUI elements if pulled up twice in quick succession spike my CPU usage and crash the program

some examples: -menu bar menus -the menu button -context menus (websites with their own context menus do not do this) -preview tooltips

I've tried disabling extensions, turning hardware acceleration off and on and disabling AI to no avail. Disabling the preview tooltips 'worked' but I'd prefer not to disable everything here. Are there any other settings that might help?
