My first name is Joachim and my last name has three parts: "von zur Gathen". Small v and z, capital G. My entry in "saved names" is (correctly) Joachim von zur Gathen. But when an application calls for it, "Joachim von" is (incorrectly) provided as my first name. How do I edit my saved name so that it is displayed correctly? I updated Firefox yesterday and today I cannot access any comment sections on stories (Yahoo). I have re-booted my computer and cleared my cache. I looked at my privacy and security section of Firefox, but couldn't see anything that might affect this. In the past, I sometimes have to re-load the page to access the comments, but that is not working either. Here is the message that shows up: Oops, something went wrong :( We detected some connectivity issues therefore we’re unable to load the Conversation

Comments were working fine before the Firefox update.

Any suggestions?

I have not noticed this before upgrading my Mac to Sequoia 15.0, using latest Firefox browser update, but "printing to PDF" which I used in the past extensively, makes a PDF file that causes the letters to be one ASCII number off. So if I type into the "search" field "p", then all the "o's" are highlighted. I can only enter a search term if I usean "ASCII number +1" technique, so I can search for "get" by typing in "fds". Numbers are searched for as in the past. This is not happening if I make a PDF using my Safari browser, all the PDF words are correct and searchable as in the past. Anyone have insights as to why this might be occurring? I will try restarting in "safe" mode and re-downloading Firefox as is suggested in some of the articles here. Thanks!

on restart/update, all my toolbar extension are large and unchangable, there was a small icons option before this `update` now, i cant change them, the top of the screen used up by toolbar bs i dont need or want in large format. Is this something overlooked and will be fixed shortly today, or is this a `look for another browser` situation ?

After a few days I noticed that the option "open with" on the downloads dialog is always grayed out (see the attached picture).

If I go on the settings and tell the browser to not ask and open directly the file, it opens without any problem... (actually it shows an advertisement saying it is an executable file, but when I dismiss it, it opens)

I was told by support rep Ed to resubmit this.

Firefox is broken. Submit buttons are not working, & recaptcha doesn't work on some sites. All is well with other browsers.

I'm having an issue with Firefox and could use some help. When I use the Babbel application (and sometimes other websites), the page doesn't display at all. Even when I refresh, nothing changes. However, when I open the same link in Google Chrome, it works perfectly.

I tried logging in with a brand-new Firefox account, and the page displays without any issues. So, I suspect that one of my extensions might be causing this problem on my main account.

However, I don't want to delete my cookies because it's really inconvenient to re-enter the passwords for websites I use frequently.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I can identify the extension or setting that might be causing the issue without having to delete my cookies?

I have tried doing the History > Forget about this site stuff and deleting cookies on individual sites. Still, I cannot get past the login page for a number of websites that are crucial to my operations. Like Elementor.com. when I need to connect to my account, I enter my username and password and it just stays frozen on the login screen. If I go the Edge, it works just fine, but FF keeps hanging on websites????

when trying to access our online banking with servus credit union it blocks access yet we can access it using firefox on our laptop or our phones this has been going on for about a month now and I would like to get it straightened out .

My computer restarted on me (as always, this piece of garbage new laptop has to restart every other day for some stupid update or battery issue) and Firefox, despite still knowing my history and latest websites visited, does not have an option to open the many closed tabs.

I don't want to go back to Chrome, but there's basically only one thing I need from a browser and it's insurance against my devices turning off and leaving me without any of my tabs.

Whenever i try to upload a file on macOS to Firefox the browser doesn't respond, making me have to force quit it.

I have a MacBook Pro M1 running the latest version. I am not sure what is causing this issue.

ATT/Yahoo is my homepage. When reading an article on the ATT(Currently)/Yahoo homepage, there is a comments section at the end of each article. When trying to access the comments section, it disappears when clicked on. On other homepages (MSN, eg), it works fine. Any help would be appreciated.
