I'm stuck with the use of downloadhelper. The 3 ballons start in color and 2 seconds later they turn grey. when I play a video on youtube, I cannot download although it used to work perfectly before. Is it a problem of compatibility with an add-on or anything else? thank you. Regards.

I've appreciated using Firefox as my laptop browser for several years. However, now I've been getting full page pop-up advertisements that are beyond annoying since they appear in the middle of my logging on to sites. It is very worrying to see another screen pop up in between my entering a user name and a password. I have to wonder who is seeing my personal information? I've got version 9301 and it was working great a few days ago, but now it is deactivated for some reason. So I looked at the manager page and it said that it was disabled. So I moved the switch on the right and the "(disabled)" went away.
Then I went back to the same video source that I had been downloading from a few days ago but it is still completely deactivated, meaning that the 3 balls are staying white, with a "no media to process in the current tab" statement when I start playing a video instead of the 3 balls jumping into colour when I start playing a video.
Im traying to install add on VPN FREE, but the brownser for all the VPN FREE return to like:
