I cannot make fire fox work at all.for me. I need the file, edit, history, bookmark tool bar back. I'm pleading with you. Please I BEG you to uninstall the upgrade. Please let me have the Firefox I had last week. I,m 88 and will die before I ever!!!! i can't make anything work.I have over 5,000 bookmarks. I write for a few dollars to partly support myself. Right now I'm out of business. Where is the invisible email address? I have been using FIREFOX since it came out. i can't go through your circus. A browser should have a high degree of instinctive coordination, it shouldn't be similar to experts cryptic calculus level, when your totally unfamiliar with the level of calculus I'm sorry, I won't be able jump through hoops..

Why is this font so small, I have tried everything so much so that I have the about.config on my bookmark tool bar, I have tried the extensions that do not work, zoom makes everything too big, increase the font on my desk top. When I go into the about.config ....To increase the font size in the Firefox address bar, you can modify the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx setting in about:config or edit the userChrome.css file to apply custom CSS rules none of this works. as you can se from the picture the font is SUPER TINY!!! I have changed the setting on my computer for the desktop also and nothing.

MY FF recently updated to version 1380.1 (64bits) and my Sidebar Bookmarks are gone. That is I have to manually put them back every time I now start FF. I want them to always show when I start FF. When I need extra screen space, I would click the X and they'd disappear for that session. And when I was done, I'd click on View - Bookmarks they'd be reinstalled. And when I shut FF down and returned later, they'd be right there where I need them.

My question is, how do I get back to that setup?

Some extensions, like Bitwarden or Notes, seem to have added their own shortcut icons between the settings cog and the other functions below the tabs, with seemingly no way to remove them? I already have them in my regular toolbar / extension overflow, which has much more space available, so I don't see the point of why there's duplicate ones in the sidebar taking away tab space?

Since update to Firefox version 138.0.1, my last viewed side bar is never automatically displayed upon REOPENING Firefox. I must always > View > Re-select the desired sidebar choice >

How can I get this side bar to re-display automatically upon opening Firefox as it used to in previous versions?

I have Firefox ver. 138.0.1. Since this update I can't find a way to open my bookmarks on the sidebar and keep it there. I can open it by going to View-Sidebar-Bookmarks. But I have to do this every time I sign into my Firefox. I like working with my bookmarks open on the left side all the time. I am sincerely hoping the update did not do away with that feature.

My Bookmarks do not not show when I open Firefox. I have enabled Bookmarks under View > Sidebars but they don't show and I have to manually make the visible every time I us Firefox.

No matter what setting I choose , ie dark or light, all the websites are showing dark. This is a real problem for my eyesight. I cant see words etc. I have tried various changes and have reset dark/light but still dark. can anyone help with this please

After a Firefox update, my bookmarks menu, which was on the left side of the screen vanished. I have not been able to restore it. When I click the bookmark box (at the top of the page) I get three choices showing up on the upper left side of the screen. 1) Summarize , brainstorm, etc. 2) Tabs from other devices. and 3) History. So how do I get bookmarks???

On the website https://tiefbasskommando.de, a custom animated mouse cursor is supposed to appear when hovering over the page. This works correctly in browsers like Chrome and Edge, but in Firefox, the custom cursor does not appear at all and not even the default cursor.

I mean when choosing: "Set image as desktop background" and a window opens, in that window a combo box should be between choosing "Desktop Wallpaper" and "Lock Screen wallpaper", and if there are multiple displays another combox box for what display or for all.

After Firefox went haywire every time I tried to upload a file or add an attachment to an email, I eventually found a way to "restore default settings". That fixed ONE problem but immediately caused several new ones: The "File Edit History etc" toolbar has disappeared. How do I get it back? The colours and identifying icons in the drop-down tab menu on the right have also disappeared. How do I get them back? Nowhere to recover them in Settings and no answers to the questions from Mozilla.  :-(

When I enable a theme, it doesn’t apply properly. Instead, the color that appears is just the default color of the browser. Sometimes the theme applies, but when I open a new browser window, the theme I enabled disappears. Why is this happening? Tysm :)

the right click menu used to be matte and used my windows accent color. now its transparent with a frost effect on top, kinda like the right click menu in windows 11. how do i get the old one back

Hello, when many tabs are open, the mute button takes up almost the entire tab. When I go to a tab, I get to the mute button... https://assets-prod.sumo.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/media/uploads/images/2025-03-01-03-07-42-491a45.png Is it possible to remove this function on the tab, but leave the sound icon itself? So that when I click on the sound icon, the tab is switched to instead of mute?

I can't change colour of visited links with version 138.0.1 Why has this changed and how can I fix it. If I change the visited links colour, all the website colours are overridden. There used to be a choice.
