I read somewhere that the change was to make firefox more like chrome. So let's cut off our nose to spite our face. This was major feature that DISTINGUISHED Firefox from chrome, and worth migrating to Firefox for!
Please please wake up and smell the coffee. Large corporations spend huge sums to achieve positive differentiation, and you threw it away.

I downloaded and installed the latest version of Firefox. Every email link in my mail.com email.com account now fails with this message: Error Code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG No Firefox setting changes are helping, but if I forward that and other emails with a link to another mail account I have, they links work perfectly fine. So I ave to conclude it is a Firefox issue, but I don;t understand how to fix it. Can anyone advise me, please? [redacted] @writeme.com
I also get informed that my WLAN is not connected but all lights are on! Can not get into Youtube for example! I am completely knocked out!

I got this offered to me: https://www.google.com/search?client=ubuntu-sn&channel=fs&q=how+to+set+dictionary+in+firefox
Doesn't quite work. Wrong things declared, etc.
I see a "badly spelt" word. Double click, go to add dictionary.
To the best of my knowledge, it is installed. Others point me to about:config spellcheck.dictionary
But that is not really offered to me when I am typing the name. So probably doesn't exist.
I'm trying ITMT, but would like some help please.

Cordiali saluti.
Dear Mozilla Team,
I am writing to propose an important feature that would greatly improve accessibility and digital inclusion in Firefox: the implementation of real-time captions directly in the browser.
This feature, already available in Google Chrome, automatically generates subtitles for any audio or video content played within the browser, regardless of the platform or service. It would therefore be extremely valuable not only for deaf or hard-of-hearing users, but also for anyone in situations where audio cannot be played or easily understood.
Introducing real-time captions in Firefox would represent a major step toward universal accessibility, ensuring that millions of users can enjoy online content without barriers. Such a feature would not only strengthen Mozilla’s mission for an open and inclusive web, but also demonstrate a tangible commitment to meeting real user needs.
Thank you for your attention, and I hope this proposal can be considered for future versions of Firefox.
Sincerely.

I always use the middle mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel) to open and close new tabs, but since the update, it doesn't work anymore and now types "=" if the cursor is in a text field. For context, I use an MX Master S3, mapped with Logi Options+.
Anyone else having this issue? How do I roll back to the previous version??
SOLVED: It was a bug with Logi Options+, not Firefox. When I hovered over the tab for the presets I had for CaptureOne, I noticed it also said Firefox. So seems something weird happened there. Deleted that preset and the issue in Firefox went away.
I couldn't find a way to delete this thread, though.
I've been using CTRL+SHIFT+A for many years with a screen capture program. Now Firefox took it. How do I disable this keyboard shortcut?

How do I do this in Firefox on Windows? Nothing I've tried seems to work.

Animation triggers my migraines.
Many, many, many websites trigger zooming animation on mouseover. I can reduce the frame rate to help deanimate this, but I would rather not animate it at all.
On the whole, I think it'd be easier to block all these effects. How can I do that in Firefox?
I'd prefer to still see where links would lead without clicking on them. And I'd prefer to get tooltips working, but I increase mouse cursor sizes, so they're already broken.
