just agreed to the new update for firefox and now my scroll bars will not work properly. they keep jumping to the far right hand side of page and when moving the scroll bar to the left so I can view the whole thing it will not stay. it jumps back to the right side.

My mouse (wheel) only works on the portion of the page that is currently visible; it will not scroll down the rest of the page. This problem began after 151.0.1 update just a few days ago. It works correctly in other applications such as word or excel. It also works correctly with other browsers, so it is definitely something in Firefox. Any ideas?

Firefox is using disproportionate amount of cpu and memory after upgrade of win 11. How do I fix this. I have an I9 Processor with lots or ram and ssd drives way out of line..

I'm using v151.0 on Windows 10. The title bar disappears at random intervals and I have to close the application using Alt F4 and relaunch to restore it. I think the menu might disappear too. Otherwise I could close use File -> Exit.

Firefoxa używam od lat ale ostatnio strasznie mnie wkur....bo kilka aktualizacji zepsuło ten program, co aktualizacja to gorzej z wyszukiwaniem i pobieraniem np. zdjęć, nie raz nie da się odświeżyć strony, nawet wyczyszczenie historii nie pozwala na nowo wczytać strony zapisanie kolejnego zdjęcia o tej samej nazwie nie pozwala wpisać np; image 1, 2, 3 itp wklejając np: image okno jest nie aktywne by wpisać 1,2, 3, itp; trzeba czekać aż Firefox się namyśli i pozwoli dokończyć wpisywanie, szlag trafia człowieka przy takim działaniu. te wasze aktualizacje gdyby rozwiązywały problemy nie byłoby tyle poprawek Np 150.01, 150.02, 150.03 myślę, że następna aktualizacja 151 będzie bez błędów i wyeliminuje obecne bo inaczej będę musiał zmienić przeglądarkę. I jeszcze jedno wyszukując zdjęcia są one zamazywane i wielokrotnie pojawia się informacja że zmieniliście mi ustawienia przeglądarki (włączony filtr) wyłączam go ale nie ma opcji zapisania ustawień i za jakiś czas sytuacja się powtarza, zróbcie coś z tym i nie decydujcie za mnie co mam włączone a co nie. Tak samo jest z motywami niektórych nie da się usunąć a zaśmiecają kompa. Jurek

Today Firefox has suddenly started using ~20% of my CPU capacity, causing my cooling fan to run high most of the time. Since I had been running Firefox v.149.latest, I tried updating to v.150.0, but that made no difference.

It's not Firefox by itself (only Task Manager open) but whenever I open another tab with almost any website (including this one) that CPU usage spikes. What gives?!

Details: Running under Windows 10 Pro (yes, I have installed the ESU package, good until thi8s fall) on a Lenovo P1 Gen 2. Currently running Firefox inside a Sandboxie Pro v1.17.4 sandbox.

I've just opened one simple Web site (in addition to Mozilla), and already CPU usage sits at about 20%! Please refer to my recent posts here at "Why is Firefox Suddenly Taking Over my CPU?" for the problem description. I’m experiencing a serious issue after updating Firefox to version 150. Since the update, Firefox frequently freezes and crashes, making it almost impossible to work normally.

My laptop has 16 GB of RAM, and I’m using Windows 10. When I check Task Manager, I can see that Firefox’s memory usage suddenly increases to around 7–8 GB, then drops back down to around 3–4 GB. The memory usage keeps fluctuating heavily.

Also, the number of Firefox processes/tabs in Task Manager keeps increasing, and eventually the browser becomes completely unresponsive.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know how it can be fixed?

After latest update Firefox Developer Edition 151.0 Beta 4 I noticed much slower website loading while using few containers at the same time and overall more lag. Before the update everything was great and smooth I hope it's gonna get fixed soon.

I'm experiencing an issue with the latest Firefox update. If I refresh a link/page the browser "spins out" in a rapid endless refresh cycle. In some cases, I receive an error message, "too many requests," and in other cases, the browser "locks up" and quits responding at all.

Is this a known issue?

Previously, had no problem loading YouTube videos in multiple tabs, switching between them and them playing their videos with no freezing , pausing or buffering. Since the last upgrade loading a single YouTube video causes it to freeze and continually buffer. And Firefox is spawning multile copies of itself in task manager. (One instance had 15 copies.)

Whenever I launch a YouTube video, It starts then the whole page freezes. No links work and no menus shows up when I click my mouse. I can do nothing to get the video to unfreeze. All I ca do is close the window.

Hi Mozilla Can you improve firefox 115 in next update because this browser is slow and need to improvements in performance, i'm using windows 8.1 and i'm can't upgrade to windows 10

For some weeks now, the "File" menu randomly opens by itself then closes a second or two later. It seems to happen once I get focus on a page. For example, if I open a new tab then go to Google and ask a question, once the answer is returned, within a second or two the File menu drops down then closes again. I have the latest version of FF (149.0), 64-bit under Windows 10. There are a couple of settings in about:config that were suggested to be changed by ChatGPT but this hasn't made any difference.

After updated to 149. Tab unloader is totally broken, unloaded tabs won't be discard but hold in shared web processes then reload right away. Extension process ram consumption bloated then cause browser lost response. If it not a hard hung up it would stop loading data from web. And/Or not operate when switch tab. Every action is risking frozen only way to unfreeze is to kill the extension process while risking complete lost of response. Never seen such piece of shit in decades.

When playing YouTube videos in Firefox, the video constantly hangs or freezes. I have to restart the browser to continue playback. This happens every time I try to watch videos on youtube. what is going on?
