What is this new notification badge I now have on my Firefox Tab in the Windows taskbar. An annoying little number one in a circle that won't go away and won't tell me where the notification is coming from?

Firefox instructions say go to Notifications on Privacy and Security, but Privacy and Security on my Firefox no longer has a Notifications link. The sfgate site itself refused to let me into its settings. Where on Firefox do I block it?

When I sign on to AOL, Mozilla suddenly starts sending pop-ups on the right side! I keep clicking them off but another appears a second later. I get the full block full of notifications numerically which I watch and click on the ones I am interested in. These pop-ups are SO annoying and I dont know how to get rid of them. I've been with mozilla/aol for over 20 years and now that I have a new computer with windows 11 - I'm stuck! Please help

All of a sudden the allow location permission window is popping up repeatably. I have the option turned off and every time I go to Amazon or Home Depot or any such place the window ops up requesting that location location tracing for the sites. I tried toggling the on/off for the option but it didn't stop it. Help!

On your homepage there are 24 news articles... is it asking too much to have 12 of them from non-far-left news agencies instead of the 20 far-left and 4 neutral? Or maybe you don't care about the 50+ percent of right leaning customers. Need a Bud-Light lesson?

While working in Chrome I get desktop notifications from web-based chat applications in my Firefox browser. I would click on the notifications and would be instantly redirected to the Firefox webpage with the new chat. Now when I click on it the Firefox icon in the taskbar just blinks and I have to click on it to open the Firefox window. This just started about 2 weeks ago; I suspect that a Windows update from then may be the culprit. I'm running the latest version of Windows 11 on a HP ProBook 445 G8 Notebook PC.

I recently made a purchase online and I got a pop up from emergent.com asking to save my ccv code. I declined, but is that normal?

My browser (on a second device) is sending me messages that a Trojan has been discovered - will not stop so I uninstalled it. If I download a new browser will the same messages continue? Has this breached the whole of my Mozilla Firefox account?

I am not sure how the architecture works and to clear the other device.

This support article is inaccurate and doesn't stop firefox from prompting for my windows 11 pin. Is there anyway to actually stop this prompt?

This lasts possibly 3 seconds. It has an email logo and a high pitched sound. It just flashes on, not long enough to read, just long enough to be annoying. The location is always on the Top Right corner of the display. I have all notifications and web push blocked in Firefox preferences. System is Mac, OS 12.1

Up until a coouple of days ago while working in Chrome when a Firefox notification popped up from chat websites in Firefox, I could click on the notification and be switched to the website in Firefox. Now all that happns is the Firefox icon in the taskbar blinks... I wonder if it's due to a recent windows update... The last couple of updates seem to have impacted capabilities on Youtube. Specifically, under notifications, when you click the 3 dot option menu, the menu decouples from the option menu and goes to the top of the screen. Not the worst thing in the world but is incredibly annoying when trying to clear/hide multiple items.

A banner appears upper right of screen, stating firefox has 3 notifications (or 1 or 2 etc) but I don't know where to look for them. Can anyone help? I'm using a MacBook Pro from 2010 (when they knew how to make things that lasted) with firefox version 115.22.0esr on macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 (which is apparently the last version I can use as computing has vastly outraced my laptops capacity and we are expected to update everything to catch up with security glitches etc so tough sh*t if everything goes wrong. Welcome to capitalism folks.)
