Firefox browser when on Foxnews will crash and causes PC to completely reboot? This has been happening on multiple PC's in my house and has been happening for months.

For the last few days, Firefox is being removed from my computer overnight and i have to re-intall the browser the next morning. Sometimes it's still there the next day, and sometimes it's gone again the next day. What i causing this and how can i prevent it from being removed? Jenny

OK recently firefox has been misbehaving in that some bookmarks froze or would not load. I thought it was SKY but other browsers were OK. Managed to refresh Firefox etc which changed the bookmark icons to generic icon of a globe. Then unable to delete / modify / save bookmarks. Followed Mozilla support advice help / more troubleshooting information / profile folder / open folder / check properties / sqlite / change from read only all folder s& subfolders / exit firefox. Icons reappeared but in the address bar is the full URL rather than the original saved bookmark and no blue star to indicate that bookmark. So bookmark works but the URL label instead of the short version is the full version of the URL of Bloggsandco,com TERWF78;ULUFWOUW88UY not Bloggsandco.com and no blue star. I am zero tech savvy before you ask and whilst there may have been a corrupt file in Firefox there have been two fixes with CMD SFC/scannow repairs (W10 64 bit) and now Firefox refresh. Of course lost all extensions and theme on refresh firefox. Any thoughts - have managed now to delete excess bookmarks

The email account I use for my firefox login is now no longer in use, is there anyway I can change the primary email to a different one, I am currently logged in but dont have a back email on my account and if I try to add one it wants to send me a verifaction code to the email I can't access.

My bookmarks are not being saved anymore. When I try creating a new bookmark, it often simply doesn't work. If I try in troubleshoot mode, it sometimes does, and sometimes doesn't, I have no idea why. Creating new folders, or moving bookmarks, or deleting existing bookmarks is also blocked. In the backup files, I can see the last successful saving of my bookmarks is a month ago, though I'm using Firefox on a daily basis and I can also see that, previously, saves where every couple of days.

I found a recent json file named "bookmarks" in C:\Users\(me)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\64cqek8b.default-release-1768329501903\weave\failed

The file content : {"ids":[]}

And nothing else.

There's also a squilte file named "bookmarks" in C:\Users\(me)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\64cqek8b.default-release-1768329501903\weave

The file is dated of today and its size is 1,47 Mo. Which, I believe, shows the data actually exists... but fails to save into json format for some reason.

I hope all needed informations are there, but please ask me if something is missing.

When I first open Firefox I have noticed the past few days that if I try to click on anything on the menu bar right away I get a not responding error message and I have to end up shutting the program down. If I wait a few minutes the menu bar does work normally.

I set up a new Group with 14 tabs. From my main page I open the Group in a new window, peruse the 14 tabs, then save and close the Group. If I re-open the Group in a new window during he same main session, the Group opens in a new window perfectly. If I shut down the computer and re-open my main page a day later, AND then open the Group in a new window, one of the Group tabs opens in the main window and 13 open in the Group window. I then re-add the open tab from the main window to the open Group window. Again, I get the same behavior with all 14 tabs opening in the Group window during the same session, but only 13 in the Group window if I shut sown the computer and re-open a day later. Anyone have a solution??

Exactly what it says on the tin. help?? it still has autofill for my emails and stuff, i didnt do anything weird my computer just went dead while firefox was running. please send help i left all my stuff on google and i dont wanna have to work to get them back.

I’m experiencing the following issue:

When I open Password Manager (about:logins), the page is completely blank.

This problem started about three months ago, after I updated Firefox to a newer version.

Currently, on the about:logins page, I can export all my accounts and passwords as a CSV file (so the data clearly exists), but nothing is displayed on the page itself.

I also tried importing the same CSV file (exported from about:logins) back into Firefox. After importing, all accounts and passwords appear in the left panel. However, when I click on any item, the right panel is still blank. If I close the page and open about:logins again, the items still do not load.

My current Firefox version is 147.0.

How can I solve this problem?

Ich habe über die Sicherheitssoftware "Trend Micro Security" eingestellt, dass keine heiklen Daten wie Kreditkartennummer, Debitnummer, Kontonummer etc den PC verlassen, ohne dass ich zustimme. Nun bekomme ich, wenn ich Mozilla Firefox öffne, ständig die Warnung von Trend Micro, dass die Sicherheitssoftware verhindert hat, das Mozilla eine von den gepeicherten Nummern übertragen wollte. "Die Funktion zum Schutz vor Datendiebstählen hat verhindert, dass geschütze Daten den Computer verlassen." Angegeben ist das Programm "Firefox.exe". Was passiert da bei Firefox im Hintergrund?

I cannot move or remove bookmarks on my laptop. The bookmark tool appears locked and does not allow it. Is there another way to move the bookmarks to bookmarks toolbar? My laptop is a MAD RYZEN 5 3500.

Just downloaded "Hide Google AI Overviews" which is grayed out. in addition, Browsing Safety by Safety is asking for permissions. My question is simple, do I allow the Browsing Safety Etc. permissions and that will allow the Hide Google Etc to run. In addition do I compromise my security by giving Google those permissions?

When I try to print puzzles daily from USA Today through Firefox, the crossword and/or the sudoku show up in the print box as 2 pages, when they are only 1, unnecessarily printing a blank page. If I print through Chrome instead, it only shows and prints 1 page. In order to print only one page in Firefox, I have to change the "pages" from all to current. Never used to have this problem.

Hola, firefox no funcionaba bien, busque que hacer y lei de enviar los id de informes de fallos, pero como eran muchos los elimine SIN ENVIARLOS, porque no sabia que estaba enviando y ahora no logro poder usar Firefox, lo desinstale e instale nuevamente y todo sigue igual. Hello! :) Instead of normal letters (in English), normal font (in English), I'm getting Symbols & Shapes where words & letters should be. Happens daily & several times daily on a variety of web sites. The Symbols & Shapes never cover an entire page, just small sections here & there. Sometimes this problem fixes itself after a few minutes (meaning the Symbols & Shapes vanish and normal letters & words [in English] appear in their place). Sometimes I have to log in & log out a few times before it goes back to being a web site with normal words & letters (in English)... Sometimes, those areas - or patches - of symbols & shapes on a web site page Never get fixed...even going as far as to make the page (and one time the whole website) unusable. The extent to which I find this whole thing very annoying is compounding. Thank you in advance for your valuable time and your consideration of a remedy to my problem. Peace! ~ Catherine
