I do not store my usernames and passwords in firefox, I use a password manager. I also disable Remember Passwords and "Remember search and form history" For some reason before I unlock my password manager my "user name" from Site A is inputted into Site B's login field...

How?

It should have never been saved by anything in the browser yet it exist somewhere.

I made two alterations in about:config

browser.formfill.enable false browser.formfill.expire_days 1

This stopped it from inserting the username and I'm hoping this will remove the username from wherever it's saved but I want to know what file it was that contains form information?

I recently received a new computer. I downloaded Firefox and added the 1Password Extension. However Firefox doesn't recognize the master password for 1Password. I tried it on different browsers and don't have a problem.

Went to get on the government page and I even typed in different passwords I have for the government and it dont know me. tried to get into Walmart and forget it. none are being recognized Ive had updates today also. dont know if that did it. I have a different password and email for all my sites thats why I use Mozilla to remember them for me Went to look up my passwords and they are missing

I recently refreshed my computer and moved the old profiles folder to the new firefox profiles folder in roaming Folder in Win10 but my passwords wont apear even though logins and key4 are in the folder

I am located in Israel, but have set my default display language to English.

Over the past few weeks, when I go from the Google search page (my home screen in Firefox) to Gmail, the "select account" screen displays in Hebrew rather than English. Once I've selected an email account, however, the display reverts to English.

This is a minor annoyance, as I can easily navigate the Hebrew page, but it is a recent change, and I can find no explanation for it.

I have checked to see whether the problem occurs in another browser (Chrome) and it does not.

Any help would be appreciated

Using Firefox on macOS 15.1 & 15.2 we get into an authentication loop when using a Yubikey with Firmware 5.7.1. This can be tested on the Webauthn.io test page Once you created an account with a PIN and subsequently try to login, you will asked for a PIN over and over agin.

I have been paying my bills online using Mozilla, but the last few months, have not been able to log into some of the credit card & utilitiy sites, it just sits there with a spinning wheel forever. If I go to a different browser, I can log right in & pay my bills. I don't know if it is something I am doing wrong or a setting that has to be changed somewhere or something else. I have run Malwarebytes, a full virus scan of my whole PC, Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and I can't figure out why. I have sent the same question to You Tube to see if they have any ideas. Any help would be great

Hi, I have had Firefox generate a password for my email account. When I tried to access the account, I assumed that the password generated by Firefox would be applied automatically, but this is not the case. how can I proceed? Thanks Hans

I have been having problems with several sites that will not let me sign in. The site responds they found something wrong, that I'm a bot, or just nothing but won't accept the sign in. Two today, MyHeritage and Economist. Economist lets me into that URL but no others, stating something is wrong. MyHeritage says can't sign in because I am a bot.

I am a paying member to both sites. Today I tried using a Chrome Browser and both sites immediately let me in, and everything worked perfectly. So I switched back to Firefox, and was refused entry. I turned off my Malwarebytes, tried the sites on both browsers, Chrome worked perfectly, Firefox did not work.

I turned on my VPN, same results. I turned off my VPN, same results. So the only conclusion I can come to is there is something with the Firefox browser.

I am retired but work about 8 hours a day on genealogy for myself and others and I am a researcher. If I cannot access my sites I'm going to have to switch to Chrome. I have been a loyal user of Firefox in 2006 and have refused to change since. I do not like Chrome . . . so please, if this can be corrected I would really appreciate it.
