I have Firefox installed on multiple devices and most/all of them don't keep sessions

I noticed that these files are updated while browser is open and get deleted once browser is closed:

• sessionstore-backups/recovery.baklz4
• sessionstore-backups/recovery.jsonlz4

No other files are related to sessions

Also, browsing history is lost, but on Firefox for Android I can see the whole browsing history including history lost on PC installations and Firefox for Android sessions are preserved too

I have "Open previous windows and tabs" checked

Installations:

• Windows 10
• Debian 12
• Debian 13 (Firefox 148.0 Snap)

when clicking on an icon that is going to send an email, Firefox defaults to Outlook. I do not have Outlook nor do I want it. I want Firefox to default to my Yahoo mail account. I checked the Settings/General/Applications window for the mailto option but it is not there. How can I change the default mail from Outlook to Yahoo in Firefox (using windows 11).
