I am writing as recently I noticed that extreme amount of data was written on my system SSD. Here we are talking about 100-200GB of data written daily. In resource monitor I found that Firefox is writing this amount of data in its Profiles folder, but only when Facebook's main page is open. I also noticed that when only the Messenger part is open the problem goes away. Currently I symlinked the Profiles folder onto one of my HDDs so the data is being written there, however I would like to know if anyone experienced the same issue and what could be the solution for this. I completely reinstalled Firefox, my installed extensions are Adblock Plus, Enhancer for youtube and Facebook Container.

Whay have extensions stopped workong with latest Firefox update. E.g. Last pass is listed as an installed extension but clicking in the installed list just gives a settings page, and there is no button to enable pinning to the top bar, so I can't access Lastpass at all in this way. Have updated Firefox to 134.0.2 and reinstalled the Last Pass extension but no change. Previously I have been able to pin Lastpass extension to the top bar next to the Download icon. Other icon that do work: Pocket, Download, Account, Noscript, Duckduckgo search, ABP and jigsaw piece. When will this get fixed pleased?

I'm using Firefox 134.0.2 (64-bit) and Windows 11. I have my taskbar set to Never Combine. I don't use tabs. I recently got a new computer with Win 11 and am noticing this issue:

Let's say I have a bunch of Firebox windows open and I want to close a window towards the right of the screen. My normal method is to right click on that Firefox taskbar window and click Close Window. But now when I right click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar, the pop up dialog box doesn't appear near my mouse cursor, instead it appears in the middle of the screen, away from my mouse cursor. It used to appear right near my mouse cursor. How can I get the pop up dialog box to appear near my mouse cursor again? See picture.

I only have 2 extensions: Adblock Plus and New Tab Override. I tried disabling both, but it didn't fix my issue.

I have my settings configured so that when I close the window with all my current tabs, I can reopen it and have the same exact window saved after closing them and shutting down my computer. This has worked perfectly fine until a week ago. Now when I start up my computer and open firefox, the window opens briefly and then closes on its own. I've checked and theres no crash reports. Each time this happens I open firefox again and get a completely new window and I have to go into history recently closed windows to get the original window open and then take great care to make sure the other window is closed first. The first time this happened I was really unfortunate and lost tabs I had opened for years. I would really like a functioning browser again.

I've used Firefox for many years. The past month or so weather radar doesn't come up on multiple weather sites, pages are slow to load or don't load, getting error codes on video's, pictures don't always load, and many other problems. I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed the current browser and I still have all these problems. I'm having to use another browser now. I run Windows 11 on my PC.

I have been messing with my computer and this morning Firefox had ceased to function, and I will be looking for my extensive bookmark list here or on another drive.. I just feel that windows 11 is pernicious!!

Hi. I had an issue with my wifi router yesterday and needed to reset it a couple of times. It's been fine for everything but using Firefox on my Macbook. 90% of the time, it doesn't work. I will reset the computer's connection to my WiFi, and it will load one or two tabs, but then it will stop working. The error I get is a he "Hmm. We're having trouble finding that site" error.

I reset my computer. Nada. Reset Firefox. Nada. I got rid of Hardware Acceleration. Nada. Chrome works on my laptop and Firefox works on my other devices so I do think it must be an issue with Firefox. Does anyone have any idea what I should do.

Suddenly all the gmail attachments stopped to download. I can see (and scroll) the e.g. pdf in a viewing mode but I can`t download it. I turned on the troublshooting mode but the problem persisted. I can download the same attachment in Chrome.

I use Firefox mainly for Youtube every day. Lately when I sit down at my Mac to view Youtube, Firefox is unresponsive. I have to close the app, and reload it this has only been happening for the past 4 or 5 weeks. I like Firefox for Youtube because it prevents ad which track me (i.e. all of them) without running afoul of Youtube's no-adblocker rule.

Could Youtube be causing the browser to die, or is it a new setting I haven't found that caused this? An explanation would be appreciated.

Since I updated firefox, something has been wrong. Twice now it's like the browser has just stopped working. When I use google, and I change the search. The page html keeps changing back and forth between the two pages.

What's worse, is that the connection stops working. I can't get any of the pages to load. I thought it was the WIFI connection but then I started using Microsoft Edge and it's fine. It's not the WIIF. It's the FIREFOX MOZILLA browser that is not letting me load the pages. Which is annoying as hell because I use YouTube a lot and the videos won't play. Or stop loading in the middle. There has to be something that can be done about this.

I am experiencing discoloration on the top left corner of my firefox browser theme when I am in "full screen view". The discoloration disappears when I exit from full screen mode to "window view". This discoloration is happening on every theme I enable. I have attached two pictures to show what I am seeing between the full screen view and window view.

I am running Windows 11 and have a 32" curved monitor. I searched for solutions such as disabling hardware acceleration, but nothing seems to be working.

Any help would be really appreciated!

Compact mode doesn't seem to work after I've updated to the latest Zen browser

Really loved that feature but both the tabs and the tool bar don't disappear like the used to, they just stay where the are.

By using Process Explorer or Process Hacker or maybe task manager, I hope you can also verify that Firefox consumes a few GDI handles per open tab. Windows has a global limit and a per process limit of 10000. GDI objects are used for windows, for the file save dialog and also for user interface elements like buttons or lists. However many applications like Firefox draw everything themself like XUL etc. But still, Firefox consumes 3 handles for me (verified on another computer) per open tab.

If you have a lot of tabs open (for reasons not to be discussed in this topic) this can be problematic. If it reaches 10000 windows will not create more. Sometimes firefox hangs, but often Fullscreen (e.g. youtube videos) will not work and the gui will disappear. Also the context menu will not open and the save dialog cannot work and is hidden.

Am I the first to report this? I did not find anything. Can this be fixed? Can I post this to bugzilla?

Can anyone confirm this? The latest version does not fix it.

Hello, when I download PDFs and open them in the Firefox browser, only the text blocks or image blocks have a white background. The rest of the page then has a dark background. I have already checked things like dark mode etc. Do you have any suggestions for a solution?
