I need to know where to go on Firefox to clear my cookies. I'm having trouble completing purchases using PayPal. When I go from PayPal back to the shop to complete the purchase, it will not pay to complete. PayPal says all is okay on their end. One person suggested clearing my cookies, but I don't know how to do that. Please help if possible. Thank you!

I find, even though passwords are saved, I must sign into every account I have every time if a log in is required . The main accts. like Facebook and X but also all my lesser accounts. It's as though the left and right brains aren't talking to each other....very frustrating.

Unsure if this is correct category... Years ago when Firefox was in it's infancy - Firefox settings used to allow much more power/control over cookies & how you deleted them. You could actually display & select individually ones you wanted to delete. Now Firefox has it's own Interface 'utility' and only allows you to delete 'groups' of cookies based on their App name. I was looking for the location / name of the dataset which is used to store cookies - so I could delete them more finely. Or is this in some sort of special format which is ONLY accessible thru Settings. I see MANY Cookie add-ons, mostly dealing with auto-responding to cookie prompts. Actually as of this writing - I am trying one of these.

This is a growing frustration with this browser. Has Mozilla changed something?

I allow cookies and want them so when I choose a website I use all the time, I can get to it fast AND I see firefox finish typing it. Common websirtes like Home Depot now it does not remember anything NOT ANYTHING. I AM AT SUCH A LOSS.

PLEASE HELP. In the settings and security I have it to allow for cookies. I do not tell it to delete cookies when i close the browswer yet it is not remembering my websites. I can delete cookies if i wanted to do that. Meanwile browsing is slow and it is such an aggravation. tried opal browser because I want something simple and will do what i want, like accept and keep cookies especially for sites I go to some times I cannot remember.

So please can you help with SUGGESTONS just asking this and that is not help when it goes on and one if you don't know I understand but I want to know what can cause this so i can figure out what in the world setting is off on this browser. I never had this problem before. I use Bitdefender but it is just the freebee one so it's not aggressive. I can't imagine why this and even the other chrome has stopped it may be a setting in my computer. PLEASE if you know tell me how to fixc that.

I had burglars and these scum tampered with my notebook, they did so many t hings that screwed up i thought i had it all set back but this has been off. PLEASE HELP AND THANKS IN ADVANCE I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE'S TIME.

Periodically I open Firefox and all my cookies have been deleted. I go into settings to find "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" has been checked (NOT BY ME!) again. This is very annoying as I then have to log into all my websites and go through 2FA. This is annoying to the point that I am posting on this site for help. Next step is find a new browser that doesn't screw up my work-flow randomly for no reason.

Recently the Temporary Cached File cannot be totally cleared, it remains always now at a minimum 2.6mb, why??? Before earlier this year it was 0mb when temp. cache cleared, what is going on?

My calendar is not syncing properly on my iphone15 and Mac os laptop, google ask has the triangle in calendar it ask me to sing in I do, then says not working as cookies diabled

This drives me absolutely crazy as I tried to narrow it down for days now. The Amazon Seller website makes me login daily, which is not a problem on Chrome. If I export the cookies from Chrome into Firefox it works, but also forgets it after about day. I can confirm:

- cookies are not the problem and don't expire, as they keep working in Chrome on the same machine and network and if I export them again from Chrome and import to Firefox even daily, it still works, so the cookies are fine - It's also not amazon's fault, let's say a stricter protection agains Firefox for example, for the same reason as above, they don't block the cookie - I turned off every protection, made sure cookies are persistent and I gave every exception to amazon's website but didn't help - it happens even if I don't close the browser, so it's not a problem with cookie deletion - I tried it in a completely clean new firefox profile, same problem

I'm losing my mind because of this..

What it says in the above question. I get logged out of all websites, which I have to sign into everything again, which is annoying, and many of the websites act like it's a completely new computer/browser, even if i ask them to save this browser. Had this problem for a few months now, not sure what setting changed to cause this.

I use the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension to separate my browsing data. I have one container for my personal account (Google, YouTube, etc.), another for Amazon, another for work, and another for web searches.

Can I delete the cookies from the containers independently?

Let me explain. I'd like to keep the cookies from my personal container (to keep sessions open), but I'd like to delete the cookies from the "searches" container.

There used to be a toggle in the high contrast settings to use system colors on all web pages, but now the option is gone. [This](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-contrast-control#w_automatic-use-system-settings) post claims that automatic uses system colors, but with automatic enabled, I cant get the colors to actually apply.

I've recently sync'd my PC bookmarks etc to my android tablet and since then web sites that previously remembered me now keeping asking me to log in. BBC news, FaceBook are examples.

Why recently after one of the most recent firefox updates, does firefox no longer delete ALL temporary cached files when I manually do so?? For years I could delete all the files, now it says there are (everytime now) exactly 2.9mb whatever, and will only go down to no lower than 2.6. What is going on? Thanks for your help.
