Hi. The message "For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. Manage bookmarks..." has appeared at the top of my Firefox window. I don't think it's been there for more than a couple of days, so it must have been added by a recent update. I already have my bookmarks available just fine, so is there a way to get rid of the message? Thanks!

Hello, I noticed google rolled out new icons for its workspace. However I use these workspace apps frequently and leave them on my bookmarks bar. For some reason however the docs, slides, and sheets logos respectively have defaulted their icons back to the original google drive icon. making it impossible to tell which is which from a glance. Sorry to bother y'all!

I have tried to bookmark websites recently and cannot. Once the star in the web address turns blue the pop up scree will appear. I hit the save button and the website does not bookmark in the file created for say 'news' bookmarks. I tried with other websites/bookmark files. Nothing seems to be happening.

There is a section called "Recent bookmarks", which appears after clicking on the 'Bookmarks' button in the browser sidebar. My problem with it is that it appears automatically, and it cannot be hidden, removed, or minimized; and shows all the recent bookmarks saved or imported to firefox. I feel very uncomfortable using the browser with such a feature. I would tell you that I switched to Firefox from Apple's Safari browser; and one of the reasons for such move was this same problem in that browser. I'm using the latest version of firefox browser v 152.0.5 (64-bit), on macbook pro m4 running latest macOS. Please help if you can how to either hide or remove the "Recent bookmarks" or please consider adding the capability for the user to do so, in the next browser update.

Now that some bright person eliminated my visible bookmarks, I find firefox is just too hard to use. You eliminated my bookmarks from the screen, but they are still there in the menu. Problem is, I have too little patience to use the bookmarks menu EVERY TIME, OVER AND OVER.

So the Firefox team has forced me to Bing. That sucks. I think this update was a tragedy for USERS, but users never matter anyway, so who cares? NOT FIREFOX. This last update ruined Firefox in my humble opinion.

I've been having this problem for about 10 years. It was raised in this thread but never solved.

When I launch Firefox, several recent bookmarks that had been at the bottom of a folder have moved to the top of the folder.

I am unable to bookmark anything. Some suggestions are to open a new table then type about: profile and then hit restart. When I do that DuckDuck then searches profile.

When I click to save a bookmark, the menu that allows you to select the folder to save it to is no longer being displayed. If I click the save bookmark option again, it gives the option to edit the bookmark like it has always done. The bookmark menu then pops up and shows the bookmark is saved in whatever folder you had saved a bookmark in previously. I am on a desktop using windows 11. This has been happening for the last couple of days. I have shutdown the computer and also tried restarting but am still not able to see the selection box when saving a bookmark. I am also current on firefox updates and windows updates.
