Every time I attempt to do something login related (signing in, signing out, signing up) with any website that uses Cloudflare for DDoS protection I get stuck in a verification loop. It prompts me to check the checkbox saying 'I'm not a robot' and it displays the loading circles, but it prompts me to check it again. This cycle repeats seemingly forever. Wth is up Cloudflare?????

This happens to many websites that I use daily/on a frequent basis (Canva, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Perplexity). Strangely enough, when I tried it on another browser (Google Chrome) I did not have the verification loop. This is a REAL pain as

1. The laptop I use is shared between multiple members of my family
2. I do stuff that needs privacy

Doing it on chrome will reveal all the s*** I do to my family. And no, it's not like I'm watching p**n on my pc. I use these utilities for business work and I'm concerned it may leak out to my kids.

One reason I suspect it's happening is likely due to my increased cursor speed (I set it to full), but then why isn't it happening on Chrome?

Here are the extensions I have installed:

• AdBlock Plus
• User-Agent Switcher
• Disable Javascript
• Privacy Pass

Every time I open Netflix in Firefox browser, to watch streaming movies, it won't show them but keeps taking me to a page asking me to log in again or pay for a Netflix account. (attached) I already have a Netflix account and can watch streaming movies with no problems on other browsers, but not using Firefox, which is my Default browser.

I use a lot of keyword search engines. This means I can type something like `kagi foobar` to search Kagi for `foobar`. However the awesome bar has a "feature" where if you type a question mark (?) anywhere it instead uses the default search engine. This means that `kagi How do I cook a turkey?` searches my default search engine for "kagi How do I cook a turkey?" rather than searching Kagi (based on the `kagi` keyword). Is there a way to disable this behaviour?

I have searched about:config and "Search Shortcuts" in preferences doesn't have a `?`. I never use `?` as a shortcut to search (I just type the keyword for the engine I want) so completely removing it would be perfect.

like the subject says the video on disney plus is very choppy/blurry/not 4k like it should be can u guys look into it? the video is blocky and blurry on firefox but not on chrome for some reason and id like to fix it soon

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with a persistent issue I have been experiencing in my Firefox browser. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot, I have encountered problems with various animations within the browser.

The specific issues include:

  Text Selection Animation: The animation for text selection does not function.

   Element Overflow Scroll: The animation for scrolling within elements in overflow does not work.

   Developer Menu Resizing (F12): The animation for resizing the developer menu (F12) is not functioning.

   Button Hover Effects: When hovering over elements such as buttons, the expected CSS :hover modifications do not occur.
   The cursor remains the same regardless of where it is moved. This is particularly problematic as the cursor often retains the icon corresponding to editable text even when over buttons.

Additionally, there are complications when resizing the browser window. Upon resizing, the window seems to "half" itself, making it impossible to drag or further resize. This behavior also hides the three standard buttons present in all windows.

An additional symptom is that when I initially open the browser, it functions perfectly. However, during usage, the first indication of a problem is the disappearance of the mouse cursor, requiring movement for a couple of seconds. From that point onward, all mentioned issues begin to manifest.

I have taken several steps to address these issues, including:

   Complete Firefox Reinstallation: I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from scratch in an attempt to resolve the problem.

   ESR Version Testing: I experimented with the Extended Support Release (ESR) version of Firefox, but the issues persisted.

   Hardware Acceleration Disable: I disabled hardware acceleration to check if it was causing the problems, but the animations still did not work correctly.

Despite these efforts, the problems persist, and I am reaching out to seek your expert guidance in resolving these issues. Your assistance in this matter is highly appreciated.

My bank has recently switched the position of 'online' and 'bank name' in its login URL. How can I delete all history for the old URLs (e.g. Bankname*) without deleting history for all non-bank-related URLs?

I cannot find an option in the settings to completely turn off translations. I vastly prefer English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese websites in their original language simply because I can read them and translated versions always have issues. But now firefox (I am on version 119, windows) continues checking (and asking for each language) wether I want something translated. How can I turn translations off completely?

I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. Hello, I recently used my MacBook Air to connect with a projector for a classroom presentation. The presentation was using Google Slides. I adjusted the settings to optimize the presentation--setting the navigation and bookmarks bars to hide when in full screen.

I normally use my Firefox browser in full screen mode, but have the navigation bar and tool bar visible.

I cannot figure out how to undo what I did so that my navigation bar and toolbar are visible again when I am in full screen mode. Indeed, when I move the pointer to the top of the screen to make the navigation bar and toolbar visible, I cannot move the pointer back to the navigation bar or toolbar without it disappearing again. Essentially, I need to undo full screen mode.

Hello, today firefox has been appearing as a blank icon on my taskbar. I have tried solutions suggested in older posts but it did not help unfortunately. if i try to

1- right click unpin from taskbar the icon shows once more. 2- right click, the icon disappears/becomes blank. 3- click pin to taskbar, the icon remains blank.

I cannot figure out how to export my bookmarks from Mozilla Account. On the desktop browser when I open "Manage Bookmarks" and select Phil's Bookmarks, I am able to export the bookmarks from the Mozilla account.

The resulting html export file does not contain the bookmarks from Mozilla Account. There also does not seem to be a way to export those bookmarks from your online Mozilla Account interface.

How do I export the bookmarks from my Mozilla Account?

I am running Firefox 119.0 on Linux and am unable to stream video on many sites. I have tested a few sites, and the only site that actually works for streaming video is YouTube. The others either say 'Source Error' or just load forever.

Things I have tried:

• Accepting cookies (via site exception)

• Turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site that won't stream video

• Turned off pop-up blocker

• Enabled auto-play of video and audio on the site

• Checked for updates of Firefox (but there are none available)

• Launched Firefox in Troubleshooting mode with all extensions and customizations disabled, but this makes no difference

At this point, after doing some online research and trying everything I can think of, I'm really out of ideas.

I would appreciate any suggestions or information anybody has.

How can you find the place to compose and send an email. This may be the 16th time I've asked. Used to be on the header of the email listing to compose. You clicked it and a form showed up. Now there is no place you can send an email unless you go to the list of all the emails you've ever sent and then send from there. If you have a new email person not on the listing, can you install an app on the header above the inbox email or somewhere like we used to get before you changed the appearance of how the emails look. Hello :) Since one of the 2022 Firefox updates, I am constantly experiencing font rendering issues when the hardware acceleration is enabled. It occurs after a while of browsing on all websites, regardless of font family. See the attached screenshots.

Windows 11 Pro (upgraded from 10 where the problem also occured), GeForce GTX 1070Ti, 2x 4k monitor.

I reinstalled nVidia drivers from scratch, cleared the Firefox data, even experimented a bit with Direct2D settings in about:config; disabling the extensions (ABP, Simple Tab Groups) does not help either. The problem disappears completely when the hardware acceleration is off, but obviously I would like to have it on (for Google Maps, Twitch, hi-res videos, etc.)

I've always loved Firefox and still do. How do I make it love me back? ((-;

Today, out of the blue, my email screen adjusted itself to be very, very tiny. I almost need a magnifier to read it! I cannot find how to put it back to normal!

I recently purchased a Sandisk Ultra Flair flash drive because I wanted to password protect some files. The flash drive requires me to download the Private Access software from the Western Digital web site. When I try to do this the Mozilla browser states "Malicious Download Detected" and cancels the download. Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to the Privacy and Security part of Settings, and unchecked the Deceptive Content setting, but Firefox still would not let me download the software. Perhaps the change to the setting I tried did not register in Settings, but here I am asking for your help. Thanks.

I use MS Outlook for email in the Firefox browser. Regularly when I open a long email from organisations I subscribe to the email opens near it's end, it does does not open scrolled to the start of the email. This happens randomly with various websites, it is not associated with any specific website. I reported this to Microsoft Support. At their suggestion I tried using MS Outlook in Google Chrome. I have not experienced this problem in Google Chrome. For the last 3-4 days I have used Outlook in both Firefox and Google Chrome. On each day I have experienced emails opening near their end when first viewed in Firefox but not in Chrome. I have not had even one experience of this problem in Chrome so my conclusion is the problem must be an issue with Firefox's interaction with MS Outlook. I want to use Firefox but this problem is becoming very annoying and at the moment my go-to browser for email is Chrome. I spend several hours a day on-line and normally use Firefox for my internet browsing. I have not had any problems with any website other than this scrolling problem with Outlook. I'm not sure exactly when this problem started but have been aware of it for probably 2-3 weeks. This is a random problem, I don't have any screenshots to share with you. Thanks for your help.
