Below I have attached two images, what it currently looks like, and an approximation of what it used to look like. Since the last update, the logo has been far lower down, and the shortcuts spaced out more (I believe.) It feels rather uncomfortable and difficult for everything to be on the lower half of the screen, whilst the tabs and bookmarks are on the top half of the screen. Is there a way to revert this change?

Have been a FireFox user for a dang long time, like over 20 yrs I think, but this is getting out of control what is going on with the browser!~

 They First removed all the Un-Used short-cut tabs an left us with one over a year ago, then they forced it to the end a few months ago!~

Now they moved the Short-cuts up higher without even giving us the chance to lower them back down to better eye level, an the purple ring around them is not a good look either!~

 I know this browser is free to use, but still it's like the government forcing things onto us without even the ability to say anything, you want people to be happy using ya Internet Browser, but never ask ppl their opinions on anything you do!~

 What is it the PUBLIC can do to get this to stop or atleast be asked before anything is added so that way you do not end up loosing more users to goofle or other browsers like Internet Explorer??~~

I am getting a message that secure connection failed, it is happening for Amazon.com and maybe netflix as I can't log on or access the sites

What am I doing wrong?

I'm signed in, firefox updated telling me all about the beta, I can turn on the VPN, however the VPN will not connect to any website I attempt to go to.

It's a feature I really want to use, and started using my firefox account for it. Do you have any recommendations?

Linux. I'm trying to add speech synthesis through Piper (which has much better voices than what's installed by default). I've got it set up in speech dispatcher and can use "spd-say" on the command line without issue. But Firefox refuses to say anything through this configuration. I've configured one voice for Piper and it shows up in the voices list in FF.

FF can play other sounds just fine, such as video. FF could also play the voices from the other module that was preinstalled. So this might not be a FF issue? But as mentioned, speech dispatcher responds correctly on the command line and FF lists the voice I've configured through it.

I'm not sure where to go from here as searching has turned up a lot of dead ends. Any help would be appreciated!

I can't figure out which topic to use for this but I can't submit it without one.

When I click on the star icon in the address bar the star icon is filled in, and existing bookmarks do show with the filled-in star icon and they work. But I no longer get a dropdown where I can assign a folder, edit, tag, or delete an existing bookmark, and the pages I've tried to bookmark don't show up in Recently Bookmarked so they haven't been added. I don't know if it has something to do with the toolbar?

Nothing I can find online helps. The places.sqlite file in my profile is not read-only, and I refreshed Firefox (stupidly, before I took a screenshot of the pinned shortcuts on my New Tabs page) and that made no difference. The only extension I use is UBlock Origin. Changing profiles did not help. This is on my personal laptop and no organization controls my settings.

I stay up to date on Windows 11 and Firefox updates. I do use a VPN but it never interfered with bookmarking functionality before. (I see Firefox offers a free one now but I've got a couple of years left on my paid subscription).

I asked the community but got no replies. (I did "reply" to add more information which no longer applies, and I can't seem to delete the "reply".)

VPN app was hanging up another app so I turned off VPN to complete my transaction. Now, when I turn it back on, it asks me to sign up or log in. Either option takes me to a screen I’ve never seen before. Attaching screenshot.

Yes I tried deleting/reinstalling the app.

Hi - I love the themes available in Firefox. However, some themes I use change my Bookmarks section to "dark". I assume that is by design. However, is there any setting in themes that will enable the Bookmarks section to stay on a light setting? If not, may I please submit this as feedback for a future suggestion? Also, the themes affect the look of part of the new sidebar. I would also like to submit as feedback this issue. Thanks in advance for any help!

bold text I have been haveing trouble with my Spectrum email account (mail.twc.com)) Today I talked to a tech and she said they no longer are compatible with Spectrum. You log in and it says feature unavailable. They suggest using Google. I hate Google. It is just one giant ad machine. Their email is barely tolerable. They also said the reason they haven't fixed the issue is because they say Google is going away soon.

Since many years now, there are more and more Websites which don't work properly under Mozilla. Each time I write to the Webmaster, I receive this answer. We have not optimized your website for Mozilla Firefox, whose technology is outdated.

Many websites don't display interactive maps in Mozilla.

I understand that Mozilla has a very good system for protecting personal data and prevents sites from tracking users. I also understand that Mozilla allows for efficient cookie deletion, which commercial companies probably don't appreciate. Is this the only reason why so many companies don't want to optimize their websites for Mozilla?

I installed your update today and yesterday - 2 update per week??????????? I had a desktop that had my ICONS bookmarks such as Homedopt, Mendards, Amazon, TractorSupply, CubFoods, Samsclub and 16 others and now it's all gone ---- I am PISSED. How do I go back to what I had ????????? I can't figured out to install bookmarks ICONS on a blank screen. When I pulled my a HOMEPAGE I did have my bookmark ICONS on that screen. NOW I get is websites I looked at 3 or 5 minutes ago. WHAT Gives? Do you guys (Developers) have contestant every week as to who can add a . or a , someplace??????? to add a update??????? I how do I get back from where I started 5 hours ago or yesterday. I want my bookmarks on a BLANK Screen Again. How do I get there???????
