Mozilla has asked me to 'approve a sign-on'. They've sent me an Authorisation Code but I don't know how to approve the sign-on. What do I need to do, please.

About a month ago, firefox started requesting i use a "USB key" when logging into hotmail or ebay. i do not have a USB key and have not knowingly selected that as an option. how do i turn that off. i can work around it but its becoming more annoying and seems to be spreading to other secure websites.

When trying to log into my work Microsoft Office 365 account on Firefox, a QR Code is supposed to appear, which I scan with my phone and the MSFT Authenticator app logs me in. This doesn't happen in Firefox but instead says, "Touch your security key to continue with login.microsoft.com. I am not using a security key and they are not allowed by my work. This works fine on Chrome based browsers.

Is there some setting that will fix this or is this a bug with Firefox?

When Facebook creates passkey Firefox asks for an USB to be inserted. I have tried to disable USB in the settings ("security.webauth.webauthn_enable_usbtoken","false"). But then Facebook just gets into a retry loop and I can't create the passkey. I use Windows 10, and USB is NOT enabled as an authentication option. I need to fix this as Facebook nags me (in e-mail) to create a passkey.

Hello, I have tried everything...filters, added contact, blocked senders but I'm still not receiving any email from Firefox. I need my verification numbers to continue to sign into my account. thanks in advance for helping, Scott

I recovered my account using a backup code and set a new password. Two-step authentication is enabled but I don’t have the linked TOTP app. The settings UI does not allow disabling 2FA and does not offer backup code input. I still have unused 10-character backup recovery codes. Please advise.

I used to log into my Vanguard account until, maybe one month ago. Now it requires me to take a picture of a square box with my mac desktop computer. Don't know how to do that. Can I use the old Fire Fox update?

I was trying to sign in to siriusxm.com. A box came up that said "Please insert your security key", with a diagram that looks like a flash drive. It said the request came from FireFox Mozilla Corp.

Is this one flashdrive key that will work for everything Firefox Mozilla Corp wants to guard, or it is something required by SiriusXM? I've never heard of it, but have seen it pop up for two or three things in the last week. I don't know how to satisfy the requirement. I looked though the topics on FireFox help page, and nothing mentions it that I can find.

I received an email saying that someone had signed into my account. I want to secure my account and don't know how? I'm also not sure the email is real and isn't a scam and don't want to click on any email links...

I am having trouble setting up Two-step authentication.

After I scan the QR code and enter the code, I am presented with below error: Incorrect two-step authentication code

I first tried scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried scanning a new QR codeGoogle Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried to manually enter the secret key into Google Authenticator app, which also did not work. I then tried scanning another new QR code with the Twilio Authy Authenticator app, which also did not work.

Can anyone help to resolve?

i recently disabled 2fa and installed a new authentication app: Ente Auth. i keep getting invalid code each time i enter the generated code. i tried both options, scanned the QR code and entered the secret key manually. i used authy with success as my auth. app with firefox but can't use authy anymore. keep having issues setting up 2fa with other auth apps. thanks for any help you can offer. peace, Adrian

Hello, I am 70, it is not possible for me to go to my gmail and get a code and retrieve where I have to write the code in 5 minutes. If you have a solution, please tell me how to do that. Otherwise, I will give up.
