I can go to any link I've been to previously and went to Live.com to go to Bing to search. I was looking for a recipe for cherry sauce for venison. I'm on a 2017 Imac that's up to date on IOS and Firefox is also up to date. This was not happening this morning.

So I recently reinstalled windows and noticed that if I select the option that asks me each time where a file should be saved before downloading it, the browser appears to begin downloading the file (I can see the .part file in the default folder) but the window that actually allows me to browse for a location in windows explorer never shows up and thus, I am not able to actually download the file. However, if I select the "pick a folder and everything will download to that folder" option, it downloads just fine. I'm wondering if there was a way to reinstall firefox but keep all if not most of my settings and tabs etc.

I have followed the instructions on the Mozilla website but am unable to delete my browsing history. I recently had a power outage and had to have my pc data reinstalled by a computer specialist. would reinstalling Firefox sort my problem?

there is a payment methods label in settings but thats is. its just a label under it immediately comes save addresses from other articles i can see that there should be a saved cards button but i have nothing why?

Hi can you consider adding colour option (color) to Bookmarks and Folders. I've been using Firefox for so long my eyesight has deteriorated, so one of us has got really old :-)

I can complete the sign in and enter my password, and then I get a spinning wheel and can no longer click on the tabs or minimize the window. I have to force close it and it shows as not signed it. I've also tried signing in using my phone and the QR code, same thing. This happens with or without 2FA, I turned it off and the issue persists. Everything else about the browser works completely but I can't sync across devices without the Mozilla login working.

The system asks me to sign in using my passkey or to try another way. The screen is frozen - can't enter passkey, can't choose another way. The only way out is to close firefox. I have no problem signing in with a different browser (Safari).

i want to set randome images for background on about:home and about:newpage i dont want to use extensions because it adding "Extension (name)" text in searchbar, also it changes firefox image near "new tab" text. i tryed to make userContent.css in chrome folder in profiles but it can do only 1 image. i cant make JS working for randome images. How to make userChrome.js working or how to remove "Extension (name)" from searchbar?

mozilla was good but idonno why this time all goen just by one click after i opened and clicked on download.or update button,that topright of screen pops EVERYTIME.wue!well,idk wht but w.o any clicks..miss clicks or whtevr,all tabs are remains but with out adressz or able to open.just nothing happening,like empty,umm,blank tabs.

i have all ma tabs bookmarks cuz it was important to me.bu idk how to open back all of them.ther are many and iv see many tabs in my history,but i wants last opened of a site,not all times i openes and many duplicates,not last time and not a click for all..

It seems lately that about 40-60% of the links I click on do not work while browsing on Firefox. Most of these are links from trusted sources, many from subscriptions services I'm paying for, and thus unable to gain access to. I will get an error message saying something like "secure setting failed," or something similar (see attachment). Is this something new added to Firefox for added security? And I read some solutions in the settings area, but it seems like most of them can't be bypassed. It's very frustrating because many of these links have valuable info or tools that I can't access. Do you have any advice other than to contact the sender (which rarely results in a solution)? Thank you, Paul Fernandes

I've started using the new PWA feature in Firefox. Some of the websites I've installed show a generic globe from 4 black lines icon. I am assuming because the favicon is not available or something.

I've changed the shortcut icon by going into the Windows properties dialog. It does change the icon on the taskbar while the PWA is closed, but as soon as I open it, it reverts the globe icon.

Is there a way I can manually change the icon the PWA is using?

In the updated sidebar, the browsing history and "Tabs from other devices" entries no longer support opening links in a new tab by simply clicking the middle mouse button (which should function like Ctrl + left-click). This was possible in the previous version of the browsing history. However, bookmarks in the new sidebar still allow opening links in a new tab using the middle mouse button. Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be a shortcut key for opening links in a split tab (side-by-side view). Currently, I have to drag and drop, which feels cumbersome. I suggest adding this feature to the right-click context menu, introducing a keyboard shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + left-click, or another modifier key), or an option to set allowing the middle mouse button to open links in a split tab. Alternatively, a double-right-click could also work. If this feedback cannot be directly forwarded to the developers, where should I post or submit these suggestions?

The entire window of Firefox has an abnormally low resolution, makes the entire browser seems blurred. This issue occurs after I upgrade firefox to 146.0. I've attached a screenshot, and you can see the Firefox window has lower resolution than the wallpaper and task bar.

I often use the key combination Ctrl+Alt+X in Google Docs when on different devices but it doesn't function properly when instead it brings up the AI sidebar gadget. Removing the sidebar button doesn't really help and it's annoying. So how exactly do I turn off the key combination for the sidebar?
