With the latest update to Firefox, 147.0.1, our test suites run with the extension, Selenium IDE, has errors, "Failed:n.createEvent(...).initKeyEvent is not a function". I am running the latest version of Selenium IDE. Installing the previous version of FF has no errors. What is the solution?

Good Morning! I've just come back to FF after using another browser for quite a few years. Things have changed alot here, but I'm loving it all so far! With that being said, have been trying to get a few extensions set up. Main one being Open Link with New Tab. (WHY doesn't FF do that automatically? lol.) Anyway, obviously I'm doing something wrong because it just stays grayed out. I've uninstalled/reinstalled quite a few times. I know it's something so basically simple and I'm overlooking it. HELP! The add-on, Enhancer for YouTube, appears to be the cause of a very annoying bit of behavior. My YouTube tabs seem to be all numbered. I hate this. Why make a bookmark, I have to manually remove this number before I can auto sort my bookmarks directory alphabetically.

Worse, there is no part of the description that identifies this bad behavior as being involved with Enhancer for YouTube. I had to go to AI for help figuring out how to get rid of this exceedingly annoying behavior that showed up whenever I used tabs with YouTube videos. I can't imagine anything that this add-on could be adding to my experience that is more convenient than this particular behavior is annoying.

Changes to the appearance of tabs should not be performed invisibly and without settings that I can disable. Because of this, I can only get rid of his horrible behavior by disabling the entire add in. Mozilla put a stamp of approval on this particular add-in. So the dirt is on your face, too.

I am trying to open a site, but keep getting this message: "Before you continue to the website...

By clicking the "Accept and Continue" button, you will be redirected to the Firefox Add-ons Store to install this extension. By clicking the "Accept and Continue" button and installing this extension in your browser, you accept the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and agree to select "Recipio" as your new search engine. Firefox Add-ons Accept and Continue" I do not want to add it - why am I being forced to add it?

When I am typing a question in a thread on forum type sites like Woodworkingtalk.com I seem to constantly popups that pull the cursor from the box. I constantly have to click the mouse back in the box to continue typing. Is there anything that will block these ads in Firefox. The do not seem to happen when I switch to Edge or Chrome. I just would rather ruse Firefox.

An extension I use is not working properly "Streaming enhanced: Netflix Disney+ Prime Video" and the author submitted an update over a week ago the has still yet to be approved by Mozilla. Link to extension

In my new PC on Windows 11, I decided to install the Mozilla Firefox from the "Microsoft Store". However, unfortunately, I realized that some Add-ons (extensions) where missing from the Firefox's "Gallery of Extensions". Among them, the well known and valuable extension '"Enhancer for YouTube", which I have installed on every browser that I use. So, if I don't find a solutions for this issue, I am about uninstall the Firefox and reinstall it from Mozilla's Website..

Just received message, by LIFEHACKER, originally discovered by LAYER X, about "17 malicious extensions across numerous browsers", the list which includes Firefox and is supposedly a recent event outside of the earlier (?) event involving the Malware Ghost Poster in downloads previously cleansed by Firefox. Is this old news or is there more Malware that is 'out there' or that could be on my computer without my knowledge? (I do not download willy-nilly....) Would appreciate valid insight if it is just repetitious/old info rehashed for shock value. Thanks!
