Dear Firefox Support Team,

My Mozilla Account was Accidentally Deleted Today and I'm Looking to Recover my Data (History / Passwords / etc.). Is There any Way to Do so?

I created multiple profiles with the new [management] feature. Amazing, I've been waiting for it for years!

If I open all my profiles I can distinguish them since they all have a different icon. I can also pin all the profiles (Keep in Dock) to the MacOS dock.

When I quit all Firefox instances, I would like to be able to immediately jump back to the desired profile.

Instead I get multiple Firefox icons (without the icon profile, that disappear after I quit Firefox). I find this inconvenient.

Also McAffee notification with all these popups stating that my McAffee protection expired yesterday - I have never had a McAffee notification for a virus or pair for protection from them. Popups are happening every 10 seconds continuously! looks like about 20 or more popups describing different problems with 20 digit numbers and letters as a serial number of the problem!

I am going to be brutally honest here: I'm militantly anti-AI and think its proliferation has caused innumerable issues societally, including offloading simple cognitive tasks or questions that could have been directed towards actual living breathing people being instead handed over to something that doesn't know what words even mean, just where they might go in a sentence. Many people share my concerns, and have voiced them across social media, and have gone out of their way to criticise and take a stand against what we see as a plague.

So it is with much frustration that I find out Mozilla are aiming to turn Firefox into "a modern AI browser", per new Mozilla CEO Anthony Enzor-Demeo's first blog post in the role. I have already gone out of my way to turn off as much of the AI nonsense in Firefox as I can — even downloading a plugin to remove the Google Gemini summaries, because they're all less than useless and absolutely defeat the point of using Google in the first place — and now here we are; it's going to be shoved down our throats, whether we wanted it or not (which, of course, many of us didn't).

I didn't anticipate that this would be the thing that forces me to make an account for the support forum of all things, because my experience of Firefox up to this point (an experience spanning almost as long as Firefox has existed) has been a largely positive experience, and I even make use of Thunderbird for my email needs. Now, all of this is being swept aside because of corporate greed and an outright rejection of its userbase.

This same userbase is very strongly and vocally against this, and it is within our power — even if we don't necessarily want to have to do so — to move elsewhere. Therefore, I urge Mozilla and its leadership to read the goddamn room and recognise that we don't want this, stop forcing it upon us, and focus on being a browser that is nice to use without having to rely on the Infinite Plagiarism Machine to do it.

If there is no about-turn on this or almost prostrated assurances that you would have to directly opt in (not out, but in, specifically; as in, I would have to turn everything on myself to even see a single bit of it) to this otherwise seemingly enforced "modern AI browser" experience, I will stop using both Firefox and Thunderbird and will actively recommend against them. I've already gone some distance towards excising the likelihood of encountering AI in my life, and I will continue to do so if I have to, even if it comes at the cost of software I've been using ever since I was a teenager.

i asked a few days ago i am on Firefox have been for years and do not wan to have to change. I am trying to video call with my family from messenger and when i try it say it can not on Firefox. Why ? i d love to but why can t firefox do video calling from messenger is it Firefox or is it Facebook?you will force me to go to chrome or edge which i would rather not do please let me kno why this is thank you

Hello everybody, i hope you are having a great day!. I have a problem with Youtube about the frames drops, in 1080p60fps i have drops but in 1080p normal don't. For system operative i'm using Fedora 43. And the Firefox version is the 145.0.1 64 bits. My specs are low: Intel i5 6200u with his integrated graphics (Intel HD 520) Already installed the extension h264ify, and i think i have all the correct drivers and codecs from the rpmfusion (ffmpeg, mesa freeworld) If u need more detail and information i can give it to you. When I click on a link in emails to open in browser if email has display problems, it opens a blank webpage and a small window that I clicked on OK reappears with Firefox as my default browser. See attached screenshot. If I select Edge to open the email, it works fine.

All of a sudden I am getting loads of SPAM emails and when I try to unsubscribe, I get a Secure Connection Failed error. I have marked them as SPAM but they just keep coming, daily.

As of 12/9/25, Firefox seems to now prevent Theme add-ons from working if there is a contrast setting configured in Windows configuration. (Version 146.0) Previously, this allowed a very aesthetically pleasing view. I would greatly enjoy having that option again. Thank you.

When trying to log into my work Microsoft Office 365 account on Firefox, a QR Code is supposed to appear, which I scan with my phone and the MSFT Authenticator app logs me in. This doesn't happen in Firefox but instead says, "Touch your security key to continue with login.microsoft.com. I am not using a security key and they are not allowed by my work. This works fine on Chrome based browsers.

Is there some setting that will fix this or is this a bug with Firefox?

Greetings ! For the last two days I have not been able to access Facebook or Amazon websites. When I use a shortcut or try to type in the URL, the display says something like using Google or such when I have my default set to Firefox ( And I confimed that it is set as such). I can click on a tab or reach anything else ok. Also, those two are accessible through Chrome or Edge ok on here and also on my phone and tablet.I have cleared cache and such multiple time and removed extensions. It is just those two sites on this device on Firefox. I think there was an update recently too.. Thanks for an assistance anyone can give. Cherry
