For whatever reason, when I open certain websites in Firefox, it shows the prices in UK currency including VAT, but when I open the same websites in Chrome, they show up in US currency. The Windows region setting and the VPN connection is the exact same for both. The difference is the browser.

Is there some setting in Firefox that makes it think I am in the UK, and if so, how do I change that?

I have had multiple sites ask me to disable my ad blocker. I can't find an ad blocker in my extensions. Badger, which I do have, says it is not an ad blocker! Some of these sites, such as Rotten Tomatoes, are sites I use frequently! Help!

Hi team, I have created a web application using angularJs(angualr 1) and html in which a web page displays google map.it is working perfectly when we open in Firefox and chrome browse. I have created a wpf window application using .net framework 4.6.1 and embedded geckofx control to render web pages from web application .Issue is that google map is not rendering in the gecko browser embedded in wpf application , Although other contents/element except google map components of the same page are getting displayed in the geocko embedded wpf control(WindowsFormsHost). But when we open the same page in Firefox browser ,it is working fine. It seems like the issue might be related to how Geckofx handles certain JavaScript or rendering features required by Google Maps. Is there any configure or setting that is require to be set in geckofx to get the google map displayed ? or is there anything which is not supported by geckofx ?

05/20/2025 twitch streams stopped working, image disappeared, sound is there. Also working videos that are on twitch, not streaming. In windows 10 everything works.

I've been using google messages for web in firefox for some time. I'd pair firefox and pin the tab. Works great. However, with a new laptop the messages for web tab/page will not auto update as it does on other computers and I have to manually reload the page for it to show the updated messages. I'm not sure the cause or settings that would be needed to allow it to query the server for rcs/sms updates.

www.russellmoccasin.com won't load properly on any browser on my macbook pro running Mac OS 15.7.3. I don't have any browser extensions running, I've cleared my browser history, cookies, and cache. Still won't work. When I disabled javascript on safari and firefox, the website loaded perfectly. But I have to have JS running to use almost every other website on the internet, so what gives??

I go to Central Pacific Bank's website and try to pay my bills, but when I click on "Pay bills" it does not do anything. Before it would go to pay bills. Now when I click it does not respond. There website is not responding. So I try on America Online browser and no problem. I can pay my bills. How come with Firefox it now does not work? Hello, everytime I try and upload a video on YouTube with firefox, the video gets stuck at 0% processing,

This never happened in my 4 years of youtube and recently (a few weeks ago) this starting happening. I use firefox to stricly upload videos, and use chrome to browse with my other account casually.

Now Im forced to upload using chrome but I want to still use Firefox to upload videos. anybody know why this is happening? I've cleared cache serveral times and it still won't work. I have no adblockers etc.

On Feb 13th I went to my website at MyHeritage.com, to which I'm always logged in, to find that a few seconds after it loads it becomes all greyed out and I can't access anything. I had been on the site a couple of weeks earlier with no problems.

I removed the "Enhanced Tracking Protection" and I turned off AdBlocker for the site but the problem persists. I have logged out and then logged in - same problem. I turned off my computer and restarted it - same problem.

When I went to log in to my account at MyHeritage using my Chrome browser I encountered the same problem of a greyed out page BUT there was a banner stating something about cookies and when I clicked the "I understand" button the greyed out page cleared and I was able to access my account.

However, Firefox is my default browser and I want to be able to access this page using Firefox. It seems to have something to do with cookies.

When I log in to my Apple tv account on the Firefox browser, it comes up, but won't play the selected program. All other streaming services I subscribe to work fine on Firefox, as did Apple tv until this week. If I try running Apple tv on Google chrome on the same lap top, it works fine too. Ditto on my iPhone using Safari. I'd prefer staying on Firefox to stream Apple tv, but can't make it work at the present time. Can you help?

Since the last update, Gmail has not been working correctly on Firefox. All of the buttons to the left of inbox emails that enable you to move, categorize, file, etc your emails have disappeared. I have tested my Gmail account on Chrome, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers, and everything displays correctly. Please help. An image of the missing buttons is attached (well, since there aren't there, you're seeing a blank area of gray to the immediate left of my inbox [or any other folder] emails). I tried to login to k9data.org. This is a re-write of a product I've used for years. So far as I can tell, others are now using the new version. When I login the screen clears and shows entry into a url called ff.newtabsearch.net. It claims to be a new addon for Firefox. However, following the instruction, I get in a loop and there is no indication that any addon was installed.

When attempting to access the Twitch website in normal browsing mode, the page does not load properly. Instead of the site rendering, I only see a black screen with an infinite loading spinner.

This issue does not occur in private browsing mode (incognito), Twitch loads normally there.

I found that performing a browser reset temporarily resolves the issue, but after some time the problem returns. Continuously resetting the browser is not a practical solution.

       Observe black screen with loading spinner

   Expected result: Twitch should load normally

   Actual result: Page remains blank with a loading spinner

My own webpage displays incorrectly when I load it with Firefox, unless I am visiting with a private window.

The page: https://www.coudert.name/publications.html The webfont is Satoshi, and Firefox does load it, but variants do not affect it (bold or italic, for example). All other browsers render it correctly. Firefox on my macOS laptop renders it correctly only in a private window, but not in my normal browsing session. There, it loads the font correctly, but does not apply bold or italics. Compare the difference between the two screenshots.

I have no idea where this can come from. How to investigate? I have checked font-related settings and not found anything of note.

I am trying to use the website Jpay to connect with a loved one in prison. When accessing jpay's website I am prompted to enter my username and password in order to access the account. I enter the correct information- select login and the page will attempt to load and redirect me to the next page, but unfortunately nothing happens. The page will flash and prompt me to enter the username and password again. I am able to login into my Jpay account using safari, edge, and chrome however those browsers are no longer compatible with the jpay server for video visits. To add- I have purposely input incorrect details and when the page redirects it advises that I have input the incorrect username and password. Lastly, I have tried using several devices that range from a laptop, two different iphone, an ipad and an android tablet, the issue remains the same firefox will not redirect beyond the login screen. I have contacted jpay directly and there is nothing they can do. Please provide any advice on how to fix this issue. It appears to be on the back end. I have attached two snips. One showing i entered my information and clicked login. The next shows my username and password has disappeared after the failed load/ redirect. Thanks!

For some time now I have not been able to access any website secured with Captcha verification. My browser doesn't recognize that I'm a human and keeps going back to square one. Importantly: this problem does not occur in other browsers. However, I would prefer to stay with Mozilla, so it will be nice if something can be done with it. I didn't change any settings, I didn't change hardware, I didn't reinstall Mozilla, so that's not the problem. I've looked through my security settings and don't see anything that would help in this case. Especially since these are websites that I had previously accessed and logged in without any problems.
