I was signed in with FF and synced all data. I needed to re-install Windows, after installing FF on fresh windows and logging into FF account - nothing is synced. What have i've done wrongly?

I try to enter a new site & password with a long address. Manager truncates it to a simple dot com which brings up a "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied." error message. I have a bookmark that takes me to the correct login page, but Manager doesn't recognize it and won't suggest a login for it. For example: this page url is "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop/form" PassManager would truncate this to "https://support.mozilla.org" If I try to submit a new password, in the manager, it tells me there is already a site EVEN IF I HAVE DELETED THAT FAULTY SITE. This is a real problem and it happens on more than one site which makes the manager a limited feature. Unfortunately that makes my preference in using a Mozilla product (rather than Roboform etc) a distinct liability. Please give this some thought, thank you.

I would also like to see the manager remember the answers to secondary security questions on some websites login pages, if that were possible.

Received SSL error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_MALFORMED_HANDSHAKE when attempting to communicate with JetBlue.com. JetBlue claims issue is with Firefox on my computer. When I go thru Google Chrome, I can communicate successfully with JetBlue with no error issues. I tried using your self-help screens, but find them of no benefit in resolving my problem. I had a financial transaction on an business account that I did not enter. The tech services people told me it came from from my PC. They are a big company as opposed to a small 'mom + pop' operation. They suggested I take PC in to a Big Box store to get PC scanned and remove any virus/malware found. Contacting the big-box store they said they could scan my PC remotely to look for virus/malware.

So, my question is: Should I take pc to local computer experts/big box store or purchase virus software to use myself?

I do have several free virus protection programs on my windows PC.

I have a large (1/3 of screen) black section at the top of each of my Firefox screens for CNN which will move upwards if I scroll but never goes away. Only comes on CNN page. Don't know how to remove it? See image attached below. Very grateful for help in removing this black section of screen. It may be some sort of advertising section?

Whenever soundcloud opens without signing in, the website works fine and when signing into my account, the website functions normally but when i refresh my browser, the website goes blank and then displays an error shortly afterwords. I had done every single thing to get this website working from disabling extensions as i have blocksite installed which i assumed was the culprit but nothing fixed, i used safe mode/troubleshoot mode but nothing fixed, i did a full uninstall of firefox (uninstalling firefox and deleting firefox data from application support on macos) and still, nothing worked and many more. the only thing that did work was clearing cookies and site data but that also signed me out of soundcloud and using incognito mode.

Is there any definitive way of fixing this as i use soundcloud on a daily basis and this is a massive annoyance for me to deal with?

Ive included screenshots, first two are when my account was signed in and the last is when i delete the cookies and site data, where i have been signed out of soundcloud.

Have been asking this question for three years now. ANY PROGRESS ON KILLING FLOATING VIDEOS ??? Addons not capable of ding such. Config not capable of doing such... What is capable of doing such ?

Running Firefox on MacOS. Browser will occasionally delete previous session when re-opening the browser. I do NOT have the browser set to clear history on closing. I have noticed that two of the incidents occurred when I accidentally closed the default window that opened when restarting the browser but I still had Firefox open.

Really frustrating when I lose all my open tabs with research I was conducting for work.

After a trip on which I used several other internet connections, my Firefox has become very unstable. It is prompting me to shut down Firefox in order to open the next window. It is also flickering on the refresh icon. It is also blocking adult content. I have refreshed the Firefox browser but that changed nothing. I am not sure how to troubleshoot to look specifically at these problems. I am fearful of trying to delete and reinstall this program as I do not use any other online browsers and do not want to install them. Can this be troubleshooted remotely without risking malware?

Suddenly I'm having issues clicking on links in emails that I get from known sources. Some say the website is blocked ("This website is blocked due to your current protection level. Please contact your network administrator to gain access."), others warn me about invalid certificates (and I ignore and proceed to, as I know the websites), but those pages never load. I've tried everything in another browser, and they function flawlessly, so it's not my Watchguard firewall nor Windows settings. I have the same issue sporadically clicking on email links in Outlook, so it's not only on links clicked IN Firefox (browser-based email). I've completely disabled all the Enhanced Tracking Protection, but still, nothing. I booted up another notebook, and it's exhibiting the exact same behavior (and that notebook doesn't have Norton on it to be an issue, (though I already have it completely disabled on the computer in question).

The tracking redirects that are causing me the post trouble are "http://trk.klclick1.com/ls/click?upn=..." and "https://t.e2ma.net/click/..."

As I mentioned, these are in emails from sources I get regularly. One is a website that sells their own products, and the latter is for a content-oriented site. The one that gave me problems from Outlook was news content, and (curiously enough), clicking on the image yielded the blocked site page, but clicking on the news heading beneath it got me through to the article in question, so I just figured it was an HTML email coding issue.

I just opened firefox today for the first time in maybe a week and it updated to the newest version. When the browser opened, I tried to login to my tax website and found that all of my stored logins had vanished. This is most unhelpful as many of them were firefox generated. I need them back as soon as possible.

Application login with url: "https://www-40preprod.cpc.ibm.com/services/partners/jp/reimbursesupport/" is not working from firefox. Application is working fine from other browsers. We had OIDC redirect URL issue earlier which was fixed with this case: TS013165695. PMR team suspect issue is with firefox browser, please help us to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thanks.

Please advise -- had an Xfinity outage mid-morning as all things were working just fine in Firefox -- after the outage I restarted the computer and had the MacBook Pro set to open all apps that were previously open. Everything opened back up except Firefox, so I clicked to open. It was the default start page as if Firefox was brand new. I went to History > Restore Previous Session . . . it was grayed out. So I restarted the computer once more, and went back to that option -- Restore Previous Session was available, but it only opened the 2 start tabs from the first effort.

How can I get back to the morning's setup? Or is that somehow long gone??

Sir, I'm not sure, but I think my bookmarks vanished in combinaton with an upgrade. All of them are gone, and I very much would like to have them back! Sincerely Yours, Dan

Since version 103 (around 10 months ago), I have had the positioning shown in the screenshot in the regular Firefox. However, I would like the button to resemble the appearance in the Nightly Firefox. Does anyone happen to know why the title bar buttons in my Firefox look like this? Could it be a setting that I have enabled? I compared it with the Nightly version, and the buttons appear normal (I also tested this 10 months ago with the Nightly version, which was version 105, and it looked fine at that time).
