Recently I had to rebuild my PC Windows 10 .

However Download speeds in FIREFOX are very slow, 10Mbs BUT Microsoft EDGE browser runs at 50Mbs. What is going on? I have Relinstalled Mozilla several times but no luck THUNDERBIRD works - but I have no way of measuring its speed.

I have followed all the suggestions from COPILOT with no success

Any suggestions would be helpful

Recently the options to customize what I'm seeing on my Firefox Home page are gone, but only on one PC (running Windows 10 pro). On my laptop (Windows 11 home), I can see my settings just fine. I tried resetting, then uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox but that didn't solve the issue. I've also disabled extensions.

After update to 140.0.2, clicking on Firefox icon in the dock does nothing. The title bar says Firefox is active, but nothing shows on my screen. What changed? Did you reset something in my preferences?

"I just uploaded a new version of my Firefox extension, but it’s not updating for users who already have it installed. Is there something I might be missing? Shouldn't the extension update automatically? How can I ensure that users get the latest version?"

Do Firefox browsers can change app icons? If not I requested to developer to enhance and upgrade the apps across the platforms. Other browsers can make that feature. I hope developer see my question and fix this.

Recently all my 100 plus Bookmarks all went to Grey Globes. Never had this issue in years with Firefox. I am working on Mac OS desktop version Ventura 13.7.5 and Firefox 140.0.4. How do I get all my bookmarks to come back to normal? I tried hard refresh and cleared my cache.

Apparently, there was a Windows Update last night (Windows 10). Bookmarks disappeared on Firefox. Went to Manage Bookmarks tab. Went to Import and Backup. Then Restore. There's a prompt to Choose File, but nothing appears. Also, on the left side of the Library window it is blank. On a support page, it showed some sort of list of bookmarks. Nothing like that when I pull it up.

Lately when composing an e-mail at gmail.com on my Firefox the attachment button is missing. As well all styling aids are missing (font, fontsize, bold... etc.). This problem does not arise, when using Chrome or Windows Edge instead Firefox. But I sure want to stay with Firefox.

I'm trying to access my federal government account. They want me to verify my identity at verify.id.me. When I reach the point that it wants to see my ugly mug on camera it tells me there is no camera. I've given verify.id.me permission to use the camera in privacy & security. I can record a video with ffmpeg. What have I missed? I don't see any relevant errors in firefox's output. I'm trying in safe mode.
