My Firefox browser used to open in full screen but for the last 2-3 months it only opens about 2/3 of the screen. Pressing F11 does not work. It only works if I press the centre icon in the upper right corner of the browser.

This happens every time I open the browser. I have looked on Google but nothing works for me. It used to work fine and I do not know what has happened. Another browser works fine but Firefox does not. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Kind regards

Mein Standard-Browser ist seit ewigen Zeiten Firefox Durch den baldigen Wegfall von Skype wollte ich Jitsi nutzen. Das funktioniert bis auf die Funktion Bildschirm teilen. Hier versagt der Firefox, während alle anderen Bowser es anstandslos machen. Wo ist hier das Problem? Wie lässt es sich lösen? Ist es nur eine Frage der Einstellung von Datenschutz und Sicherheit? Hello. A little while back, I was browsing the internet because my Google website was taken down by an angry relative. I was trying to find a new way to rebuild my website when I ran into Mozilla web site builder. I looked at it and it seemed rather easy to use and so I started to rebuild my previous website. The website's name is IconKana. The website is about learning Japanese and English. I am building a computer program to teach people how to speak, read, & write Japanese and English.

I started to build the website but then I stopped because I had other pans in the fire. Now, I went back to my site but forgot how to get into it so I can edit it. I am sure it requires a password, I think I can find the password but I can't figure out how to get to the screen where I would enter the password.

Would you please share that information with me?

I updated yesterday to Windows 11. Following that update,I had a few difficulties getting Firefox up & running. It seems to be OK now except for the Firefox icon appearing twice on my taskbar when I switch on my computer. Is there an easy solution? I am not technically skilled. Thanks for any guidance.

Can you please help me with a deeply frustrating problem I'm having with Firefox? After the last update, the shortcuts on my FF homepage disappeared and I can't restore or rebuild them.

Under settings, the homepage is set to show two rows of shortcuts but none are visible. I changed it to show more rows, closed & restarted FF, but no shortcuts appear. I then changed it to no rows, closed & restarted FF, then set it back to two rows, closed & restarted FF - still no rows. I've tried starting FF in troubleshoot mode, but to no avail. Looking through the Community Forums, I can't find anything that directly relates to my problem. In case this may help, I've had this problem once or twice before but I'm afraid I can't remember how it was resolved or if it was anything I stumbled upon that fixed it.

The environment is FF version 136.0.2 (64-bit) on an Acer Aspire E5 PC running Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, version 22H2, last updated 16 March 2025.

If you can offer any suggestion how I can resolve this and stop me pulling my hair out (in my case, it's an endangered species!), my remaining hair and I will be eternally grateful.
