My microphone does not work properly in Firefox, it sounds periodically really low and that doesnt depend on my mic settings. It seems like that is Automatic Gain Control or something like that and idk how to disable it. On screenshot im just speaking as usual but the browser lowers the volume -_-

I shared a lot of important tabs to my laptop (using the firefox built-in share/send to other device button), upon starting it, they seemed to arrive just fine and opened on my laptop, however I accidentally clicked to "history"->"restore last session", which made this firefox window go away and all my sent tabs seem lost.

Is there any way to get them back? Any type of log?

I tried the following already: - Looking through History (they do not appear there at all) - Looking at recently closed tabs (there aren't any listed) - checking synced tabs window (did not contain the ones I sent from my phone to my laptop) - checked session recovery files ( none of my synced tabs seem to have gotten stored into that session recovery file)

So is there any other log or place I can look at? I refuse to believe that this is not saved anywhere? Or on mozilla servers at least? Can support help me?

I can't log into chase.com from Firefox, which I've been doing for years. I get an outage message. But down detector shows nothing. It went on for days so I tried Microsoft Edge with Bing and it works. Is there some Firefox setting I need to change?

latest update from 150.01 to 150.02 crashed compatibility error can't open firefox. error platform version 150.01 is not compatible with minver>=150.02. can't even open anymore

Since the last update, I am gettin constant pop ups. I have the blocker turned on. I do have some websites exempted, but I did not make any changes. I get the pop ups all the time now. I used to be able to change the pop up settings on the search bar, but I don't see that anymore.

I have been using Firefox for years, but may have to switch back to Safari if this cannont be resolved.

Dear Firefox friends, I am rather computer illiterate and use the internet only for emails and purchasing from Amazon. I have avoided installing Firefox updates, as they disable my sound and change language to Albanian, where I live, but don’t speak Albanian. Can you solve this, or will I have to just avoid installing updates? I have no concern for security; anyone can hack into anything they want, but it will do them no good; I don’t have anything that is sensitive, and my bank has everything well secured (and minimal funds anyway). Do you have a permanent solution – I don’t want to fix every update? I know you hate non-nerds like me, but I'm 80, and have neither the time nor inclination to be one!!!! Over the past few weeks, my typing is continually being interrupted. It did this a few years back, but this is getting very annoying and I am soon to switch browsers if not fixed. BTW on any machine using Firefox, this is happening

I've pretty much exhausted my simple little mind about this problem. At some point around the beginning of the year, Firefox changed the fonts on all my toolbars to some ridiculously miniscule font. I've queried Google's AI several times, tried every solution I've received, all to no avail. Is there a way to do this? I just want to enlarge the font in all the toolbars, not the web site contents, and lock it in. Thanks to whoever can help me achieve this.

Hello. I have a problem with firefox lagging on high end pc, these are my specs for context: cpu - ryzen 7 9800x3d gpu - rtx 5070 ram 32 gb ddr5 6000mhz motherboard - msi b850 wifi 6e

i have a folder of bookmarks called "social media". When i want to check every website there (for example: telegram, discord, whatsapp), i start manually opening them up, so i hit the folder, click the needed icon, open new tab, repeat everything. And the moment i turn on 2 tabs like that, everything starts lagging. I don't think that my pc is the problem, because it is not even half a year old + it has good specs. Maybe there is a setting that i accidentally turned off/need to turn on to remove this problem? I love firefox, and i am using it for a while now, but now i am thinking about switching browsers because of this constant lag that happens. With all due respect, Emin.

P.S. i know that you can open all of the bookmarks right clicking the bookmark folder and then pressing "open all bookmarks", but most of the times i don't need to open all of the bookmarks, that's why i open everything as i said earlier.

I have credit card auto-filling enabled and several credit cards active. However, most of the time, when I go to use the autofill, though the card choices appear and I am able to select one, and it usually temporarily shows the fields to be filled, when the menu closes, the auto-fills are gone! It's worse than not having autofill at all. This seems to happen the majority of sites where I try to use it.

Two questions; First is why does the Taskbar show "Firefox (2)" (see first image) Second: When trying to troubleshoot, I open Task Manager, and with just one tab open, I see Firefox (13); confirmed when the line is expanded. What is going on here and is it impacting Firefox performance; see 2d and 3d images? (Phone camera photos as PrintScreen is disabled for Task Manager which doesn't seem smart)

Hello. I have a problem with the chat.deepseek.com website - every time I launch the browser, the language settings are reset from the system (or Russian) language set manually to English. Interestingly, this problem only occurs in Firefox, while other browsers work as expected. Additionally, the test profile created again also works properly. What I have done: 1. Reinstalled the browser, but it did not help 2. Deleted the folders responsible for Local Storage in the profile folder - didn't help 3. Cleared the cookies - helped until the first restart, then it was the same. History is enabled, and cookies are not cleared when the browser is closed. How can I solve this issue without deleting my profile? I don't want to lose my bookmarks, passwords, and website settings. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hello, I've been watching MSNOW at 4pm eastern and after about half an hour it crashes. I get a message to send a report and restore the tab. I restore the tab which works for maybe ten minutes and crashes again. I am using Windows 11 on a new computer. I'd appreciate some assistance. Thanks. Bruce Caress

Hi, I'm using a policie file to force a family-dns. Ive written the current code down below. Unfortunately this leaves the "manage exeption"-button open, where its possible to simply bypass the block for a specific site. Is there a way to lock this button in the policie file? I just installed the new built-in VPN - and it appears to show as running in my Mozilla Accounts page (???).

HOWEVER, that is the only place I see it!!
