Hey!

Early I was able just to drag URL from the address bar and page name / title will appear as the bookmark name. But two or three days ago FF stopped doing that, instead in the bookmark name I get just the URL duplicated.

I feel it may be related with new 111 version that was released around that time and installed on my computer by FF auto-update.

See pic attached, after the `pythonds` bookmark bug started to appear and names are URLs now :(

had to reinstall Firefox because of swcurity breach...looks like old app was put in folder...but I lost all my bookmarks inthe new install...how do I transfer bookmarks fromfolder to new app

Firefox 111.0.1 (64-bit) Latest update seems to have altered the way the toolbar book marks work. The bookmarks do not display, even though there is a line reserved for them at the top of the window.

I'm becoming less and less likely to customise how firefox works from the default setting, because over time I cannot be certain that these customisations will disappear or become non functional.

Is there any way or any extention which can make a bookmark behave like a pinned tab? so that whenever I am browsing that bookmark is tracked and automatecally updated as I browse?

Three questions:

How do I move my entire sorted Bookmarks in the latest version of FIREFOX from the WINDOWS 7 PC to the WINDOWS 10 PC. Both are tower style PCs.

Also, how do I do a similar task for THUNDERBIRD (latest version)?

Last week, I started my WINDOWS 8.1 (tower) PC, opened FIREFOX. It displayed a suggestion to upgrade to the latest release of FIREFOX. I clicked on it, and it made the upgrade. However, I've lost all the Bookmarks at the left side of the screen AND the 'Home' icon at the top is gone also. Please explain how to get these back.

A comment: When you publish these upgrades for both programs, WHY does these upgrades change a person's previous settings? I spent an hour the other day trying to put my Bookmarks (on the 8.1 PC) back to where they previously appeared on the left side. This is VERY annoying, to say the least. Thank you.

When I scroll down and click on a bookmark it used to remember where I left off, now it always starts at the top of the list every time. I haven't changed any settings that I know of, the computer has updated so I assume something changed.

I have bookmarks saved in 11 folders. Occasionally when I expand a folder to work with a bookmark and then close it, the whole folder will be saved at the bottom of a different open folder, not in its original location. I was struggling with trying to locate wandering folders untiI I learned to search a bookmark that I knew to be in the missing folder. Still, I would like to know if there is a setting that prevents folders from slipping out of sight. I have observed this happening for years.
