On accessing a financial website that I have accessed many times before using firefox, I received a prompt to set up two step authentication (new for this website).

I put in my login details and it gets to a point whener a message is displayed 'securing connection'.

This fails and the site give message that 'it's us not you'. However, using Opera, I was able to login even if having to accept cookies about 6 times.

This may be a firefox issue but I am still thinkign that it coincides with the changes they have made their end for login and using the other browser although I can login I get the odd cooke message behaviour.

Any views wodul be appreciated. Getting through to the right people at the website in question (and indeed any these days) who would analyse this with some basic coding knowledge is almost impossible.

This is becoming a real problem. I still use a very powerful iMac.

I actually have 5 Mac's, and a couple of Window's PC's that I use for consulting work.

Apple has really hurt their iMac older customer market with their new file system, APFS.

They have impacted negatively a lot of their customers because more customers are using older machines to do work.

I still use Mac OS 10.11.6. It is older OS, but not that old.

You have millions of customers using back leveled machines both Mac, and OS.

I find it disturbing when I get the message browser no longer supported and the web site does not launch, and Mozilla does not have upgrades to make their browser work on mostly all machines.

You folks need to have a more universal approach to browser compatibility.

This is not working for me. What are my options????

Please advise,

CORS requests blocked fonts thus not displaying texts/icons correctly

Hello,

I've been using firefox for a while. A few versions ago (I don't remember the correct version), I started noticing some sites have broken font (defaulting the base font as used font is not available) and/or icons not being displayed.

I started investigating my extensions (I'm using ublock origin) and standard protection from firefox. Inside the console and found out that fonts (in my example at least) are being block by CORS policy.

E.g: "Blocking of a cross-origin request: the "Same Origin" policy does not allow viewing the remote resource located at https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/materialicons/v135/flUhRq6tzZclQEJ-Vdg-IuiaDsNc .woff2. Reason: CORS request failed. Status code: (null)." on website "https://materializecss.com/"

That is not breaking the browser but is kinda annoying. How can I do to allow fonts to be downloaded and used ? I've checked with other browsers (chrome/chrome-like/safari) and they work as excepected.

Thanks !

Greetings. For the past several weeks I have been unable to log in to spectrum.net to pay a bill. Currently running Firefox 103.0.1 (64-bit) for Windows on Win 10 Pro 21H2. I cleared cache and deleted cookies for spectrum.net, and performed a password reset with spectrum.net. Each login fails with: "We’re sorry, we’re unable to sign you in. Please try again later. IDID-3210."

Contacted Spectrum support, agent reset the password, and was able to log in using Chrome. I then ran Chrome and successfully logged in with the new password, and successfully changed the password and logged in again via Chrome.

Login still fails in Firefox.

Seriously Firefox, after last update yet another few websites stopped working for me, pCloud being critical but not the only one.

<rant> I've been using the browser since before version 1.0 days, but tell me honestly - why would I keep trying to use it any longer when most of sites are not working as expected (banking services, cloud services, stuff like that) and Firefox isn't looking nor behaving much different from any other browser anymore - except that it's constantly giving me headaches? The fact that I like your DevTools best is the only reason I haven't made the switch - yet, but you surely push me to.

It's supposed to be Internet Browser, not Internet Breaker. </rant>

Hi,

I have a web application which runs perfectly on firefox versions below 103. Meanwhile, I had to change my laptop and I installed latest firefox version on my new laptop. I have a login page in my web application which isn't working in the latest firefox version. But, the application works perfectly even now in the older versions below 103. What might be the reason?

Thanks in advance
